The nations league is a tournament i dont like but is actually very very important as it g9vrs us the opportunity to try new players and experiment before the euro qualifiers. By the euro qualifiers the new coach needs to know his best team. Call me crazy but i wouldnt rule out guardiola as the new manager its a long shot but i just have a feeling its not as crazy as people think.

I want andrea adorante to be called for the friendly games he deserves a shot. Hes 26 has scored 17 goals in 32 games this season and scored a lot last season as well. A late bloomer. If he plays in serie a next season will be interesting to see how he does.
Pinamonti scored a nice goal today there are times i watch him and think maybe h3 could do a job and be useful and other times i think the opposite.
Looking at fiorentina and all their itailian players my perception is this Comuzzo, ranieri arent good enough. Ndour and kean should be valled up. Fagioli isnt good enough, neither is parisi or piccoli. Mandragora maybe deserves a chance. Fazzini has disappointed me greatly this season he was good for empoli and a bright spark i thought he would kick on at fiorentina but this hasnt happened at all.
Koleosho with a beautiful counter run for an assist to beat PSG. He should be our starting winger along with Inacio imo, though both play best on the left. Kean as our CF. For these friendlies, it'll be interesting to see who our CF is bc Camarda is the U21 starter. Kean should be our #1 but it'll be nice to see Pio up there.
Almost perfect for me, you just have to put in another winger not 2 CF's. Koleosho can play the right but he is better on the left like Inacio. Cherubini is the U21 right wing starter, he is a complete team player. Fini is his backup and the more adventurous skilled player, Venturino is a blend of both and my favorite imo. And no, Liberali is not better than him, but they are different players. Vergara might be the starter or they could just play Zaniolo there, though I don't think he should be on the team anymore. Other than that, I really like your lineup.
No chance anyone speaks to tresoldi, we ve lost him. What would be your starting 11. Im a huge roma fan anf venturino has had moments for us where he has looked really good but gasperini rarely plays him. Hopefully next season he gets more game time as he has quality.
What are peoples thoughts on barella and di marco. I think they are both still valuable for italy. Barella has been in better fprm for inter in last few weeks anf di marco assists this season for inter amazing. If used we need to play to their strengths.
After juventus result today with fiorentina this again highlights how bad spalletti is. We ve had spalletti and gattuso as our last too managers just horrific. I dont believe we could have got a worsr manager than gattuso i really dont.
Honestly your lineup is basically what I have had in mind. Calafiori should be our LB, been saying that for a long time. Once he regains fitness, Leoni is prolly our best CB. Coppola and Scalvini should battle for the other spot. Kayode and Palestra battle for the RB spot. I prolly wouldn't change the midfield, at least try that out but also have N'dour and Casadei as backups for more muscle and goal scoring opportunities if needed. Or you could play Ricci, Rovella, or Fagioli as the starting regista, it's hard to tell bc they are all so similar. We have a ton of young exciting wingers which I mentioned the other day, I would try different ones out each game to see who win it out. Kean is my #1 at top, he literally scores a goal every game for us lately. The Nations League is now 4 games in a row, so I would switch up a lot of players between each games bc as of right now we have a ton of similar style players but not that many permanent starters. We have to test them all out to see which ones stick out, even if it costs us some of these games.
Its pointless keeping going over it but how does gattuso not callup kayode for playoff games. Kayode has been amazimg all.season for brentford. He could get the award for best young player in premier league this season as he has been selected in the list alongside the likes of cherki etc. Also how can gattuso not callup tresoldi who has been amazing all season in europe and for club brugge, he said contact was made last october so this was obviously rubbish. Can you explain to me how casedei gets so little playing time at torino its incredible. I watched cagliari vs torino tonight and casedei came on in the second half and i thoight he played well uwt he never starts.
Gattuso was basically just keeping the same players Spalletti kept. He even had an injured Di Lorenzo and Zaccagni siting with them on the bench, when they weren't even on the team! It's really a joke, and there are quite a few other players that should've been on this team but never considered either. Grifo is the perfect example.
I don't watch much Serie A (only Inter and when Camarda plays). People say Casadei sucks bc of no playing time. It's the same goes for Ricci. I've seen Ricci vs France and he was one of our best players on the field. I've seen countless U21 games where Casadei was heads above everyone else. If Baldini is our coach, I'd bet he will be there. I would not go by playing time to determine if a player should be on the team or not, especially with Italian teams.

If it wasnt for di lorenzo injury he would have played in the playoff games, its truely incredible.
