I saw that headline but why not Tresoldi? That's my point. Just seems like these idiots are gonna let this guy go without even trying. You have to let him say No to you. Why not Inacio? Volpato? I heard second hand some of Baldini's comments. I don't really agree with the call ups of it being strictly the U21's. While I don't agree with bringing in a 28-year-old or a 29-year-old for these two Friendlies he could bring in some 23 and 24 YO's. EDIT: apparently he also said doing this justifies the work he's done with them.
He might not want to take Inacio bc of the U19 Euros later that month. Same would go for Liberali and Reggiani then. Camarda is the only U19 player on the U21 team so perhaps he gets considered. Tresoldi is a big unknown, maybe we tried calling him and he rejected, maybe we haven't. I hope whoever takes over from the Nations League on presses the issue but I am not going to hold my breath. Lastly, Gazzetta has reported that Ricci, Casadei, and Ruggeri are expected so maybe he is taking a bit older players too, that is my hope as well.
