The 2016 era had nobody! At least Eder was with Inter and scored for Italy at a tournament. Versus Sweden. I remember it well and where I was. Euro 2021 aside who else can say that the last decade? (This is a serious question BTW). Italy had nobody. Check out the capocanniere charts it would shock you. Pelle from Southampton had to be called in. Zaza who was with Juve but didn't produce. Like Amauri got a look at because of that. Immobile was there but not preferred.

“Roberto Mancini defeated Simone Inzaghi in the Asian Champions League round of 16, with his Al Sadd side eliminating Inzaghi's Al Hilal 4-2 on penalties after a 3-3 draw. Mancini further celebrated winning the Qatar championship title on the same day.” Pulled this from yahoo. Didn’t even realiE he was coaching over there

I didn’t realize either, he already said he would bolt though in the media. Probably some unfinished business there. Actually we should send Conte and Allegri there lol

Probably doesn’t want to be remembered for ditching Italy for money. I really think they will pick him. I don’t think he has any interest in coaching club teams anymore.

I have been watching Inacio at Dortmund and I like what I have been seeing. He needs to explode at the U19 Euros though in order to be in consideration for the Nation League games.

Truth of the matter is I would pick Mancio ahead of the other 2 if only because he would have the common since to get away from the 3-5-2 even though I hate second stints. But in a ********ed up way I trust Conte more to have them qualify to tournaments.

Obviously reforms are needed. But as far as the team is concerned, age is not an issue. Swap out about 5 players and change formation. Some of these bafoons needs to do what Josko Gvardiol did last off-season and train with the Croatian Special Forces. He said of sharpened him mentally and improved his focus.

Somebody elsewhere made a comment on Scalvini. 22 YO and as a pro he's only played in a 3-5-2.

If Italy are hire Mancio let's hope he can learn to play in a 4 at this level.

I know its only Pisa, but Baldanzi to Ekhator is nice to see. Baldanzi looked to be such a dangerous player, man I hope he can figure it out.

I don’t think a national team coach has any effect on this.

That was an absolutely brutal game to watch today. Torino reverted to a 5-3-2 in the second half playing for the road tie. Mind-numbingly boring game to watch.

Seems like De Rossi loves Baldanzi so hopefully he keeps playing both of them.

23 seems to be the age where these guys are allowed to start playing for Italians in Serie A Baldanzi and Vergara are both 23

Orsolini is another Italian player if he ever leaves for a bigger club would be ridding the bench. He is just Politano part 2 in the making.

Hopefully we will never see either again. Chiesa was on the bench again too.
