Kayode with a nice run and assist (could've been a goal) today.

Of course Brazil are interested in him, he is a super f-ing talented kid that has the potential to become an elite player. We don't need to lose our heads about it, we just need to eventually play him which we showed no interest in doing with Tresoldi which was a huge mistake.

He has one game for Brazil in a friendly match. Friendlies don’t cap tie you. T. Motta also had two games with Brazil before playing with Italy

Wait I can't believe I didn't know this. Aren't the games in June friendlies, if so, we can't cap tie anyone then.

No you could only cap tie in official matches. IE. Qualifiers, cup tournaments or even nations league

Right. But calling them in for these 2 matches shows the dual nats good faith. Then when the UNL arrives, cap tie, babyyyyy.

As well, you don't want their debuts to be in competitive fixtures.

Also, Inacio in the news for supposedly PSG and Barca scouts in attendance today. Does he have the same agent as Palestra?

Just weird that he makes his second ever appearance with the First Team and these two stories come out.

You think it's bad in soccer, you should how it is handled in volleyball. Players treat deciding on what nations to play for like clubs where nations can buy players for allegiances supposedly. There is a Malines super star player that said he is looking at national teams to join and Italy is in the mix for him.

Im trying to get to the origin of these Yuri Alberto rumours. They seemed to have originated in Brazil first. According to Grok, he received his Italian passport earlier this year. His agent has been trying to push him to an Italian team for a couple of year now. He was offered to both Inter and Roma in the past couple of seasons.

“- Having an Italian passport would make him a non-EU player who doesn't occupy a foreign slot in Serie A squads — a big practical advantage. This was explicitly mentioned in earlier transfer reports about Roma and Atlético Madrid interest.”

So he might have an agreement with a team already. IMO this is probably being pushed more by his side.

However I don’t exclude the possibility that someone at the FIGC reached out. When Mancini was in charge, the federation made these approaches often. There was the Brazilian LB I completely forgot his name. And another player named Bruno Zapelli that has a cap for the U21s

Scanning Brazilian social media, there seems to be a lot of discussion about this one. A lot of people saying that he’s good enough to play for Brazil right now. He might be just pressuring Ancelotti to call him up for the WC

If we are lucky enough to have another playoff to get in, I rather just see Baldini leading our youngsters to get in. Our vets failed miserably.

How about Keinan Davis scoring ten goals!

I never thought I'd ever live to see the day when an Englander is the Serie A's second leading goal scorer.

For that matter, there isn't even one Italian in the top 10-11 in scoring!

When Zaniolo last played, Zaccagni was a part of the team. Same goes with Fagioli and Tonali. Spalletti didn't give a shit and neither should our future coach.

I wanted to see Zaniolo at Napoli I thought he was worth the gamble. He does seem to have an attitude problem…
