How did Coppola go from exciting young defensive talent to playing for f’n Paris FC. Oh right, he joined a mediocre premier league team. They’ll kill your career in that league

What did Chiesa talk to Gattuso about? The bench? Practicing with the youth reserves?

Bartesaghi and Ahanor are interesting because they can both play LCB LB LWB but we have so much quality on the left that they could be left off for lesser right footed players. We already can hardly start Calafiori and Bastoni together so there is not a huge need for a third and fourth left footed defender.

With that said I rate both of them ahead of Udogie Buongiorno and Spinazolla at this point.
Though I do love Spinazolla and he can also be used on the right as he is not left footed.

Esposito is too talented to be benched on any serie a team. Inter either sell thurham or laurto this offseason or loan him out.

So if you shift Spina on the right do you then drop Cambiaso? Issues aside, I think Cambiaso is useful just because he can play on both ends.

    Not easy

Pio with a nice header, still the officiating is so scandalous in Serie A that they don't even try to hide it.

If only Locatelli was this consistent every game...

He's been absolutely solid today, but he'll regress by the next game.

maybe in past years but this year he's been one of Juve's most consistent performers.

Yeah its tricky Cambiaso is talented but its hard to trust him defensively in these games but its not like there are a ton of options on the right.

Stevie Wonder could see that Bastoni was diving. Regardless, Pio is the real deal.

Will Gattuso pick Pio Esposito as a starter for the playoff rounds?

I have not watched Inter-Juve. At this point I would like to ask you if there was any kind of fight between our national players!

I saw Spalletti fighting or arguing in the tunnel with the ref but I didn’t see any of the players fighting,

Palestra and Kayode on the right and Dimarco and Cambiaso on the left should be it. If you can take a 5th, you bring Bartesaghi. Udogie will prolly miss out due to injury. Spinazzola odd man out (btw you don't ever shift him to the right, he doesn't like playing there and it shows, similar to when we shifted Darmian to the left, remember that mess?). He shouldn't experiment with Politano as wingback anymore, it didn't work. Play those types of players up top off the bench. Ahanor will miss out too imo, he showed his inexperience today and their coach yanked him in the 25th min.

Our starters must be Kean and Retegui. Pio super sub just like with Inter.

    Is Udogie injured?

I am also reading that many have criticised Bastoni for simulation. There are people who ask Gatusso not to call him because of this. Come on guys, this is too much and I am saying this as a Juve fan.

Any chance Gattuso will take Andrea Pinamonti?

He scored the game winner for Sassuolo over Udinese today.

Zaniolo is back, let's hope that he's in good form by the end of March.

I wouldn't bother with Pinamonti, he hasn't done a whole lot this season especially considering the minutes he has under his belt.

Colombo would be the better option.

    -Kean
    -Retegui
    -Pio
    -Scamacca
    -Colombo

    Those would be my choices.

Now if Pinamonti goes on a scoring streak from now until March then Gattuso should definitely consider him.

A lot can happen in 5 weeks.

I've said this a million times, but our owners (and even our conazionali in Italia) don't care about developing Italian players. Parma - Verona should be the type of game that features young Italians. Instead, look at all these stranieri on the field:

Britschgi, Bernabé, Keita, Sorensen, Valeri; Strefezza, Pellegrino, Bella-Kotchap, Nelsson, Edmundsson; Belghali, Niasse, Al-Musrati, Harroui, Bradaric; Orban, Bowie.

Verona is a joke in particular. Parma at least has a few Italians. All these foreign buys and for what? To sit year after year just above the relegation zone?
