Raspa is way better off the bench, abysmal when he starts, so I would NOT start him but bring him on later. Kean Retegui should both start. I like TorontoCalabria's formation. Kean has the speed to take the left in a 4-3-3 if need be. Would have Orsolini over Politano too especially since we need fresh players but not a hill to die on.

RE: Sprinkle in Friendlies They started their Qualifiers earlier because Italy were playing in the Nations League QF. The Norwegian FA scheduled their Friendly versus Finland, not UEFA. I would be concerned if Israel had an extra days rest, not Norway. Israel do not.

Yes it's a real shame between Cassano Balotelli Verratti we had 3 back to back to back situations where the most talented player of his generation became mostly unable to the national team for various reasons. There are only so many special players per decade. We almost lost Tonali who is maybe this generations most talented player but he has risen from the ashes. Hopefully Camarda and Pio come good.
Cambiaso's assist to Retegui showed that if he is played on the left he can also create the way Di Marco does and he's the better athlete and better defender.

Learn reading comprehension. No body brought up Italy-Israel. I simply asked why do they get an extra day rest over Moldova(it can make a difference), and why they are blessed to start their qualification earlier. Being 6 pts up before Italy played is a significant psycological advantage that played a part in that Norway-Italy game IMO. The whole group could have started in June.

It's not great but in the end once all the games are played it won't matter so much. We have decided that Norway will never drop points and will sore 5 goals a game but this is not written in the end we both play Israel twice and each other twice. There is no real advantage we simply need to do better against Israel than they do and win a two legged tie against them. The real criminal here is Spalletti for setting us up to fail. Even if he lost 1-0 it would have been respectable but then again he would have stayed on and found a way to mess it up so it's for the best. I believe we can win the playoff if need be and push Norway until the end.
