SF is a fine result given the women have only turned professional 3 years ago. As I understand it every Premier League team have to have a Women's team. So the English team certainly benefitting from that.

De Paul is an established player and World Cup champion. He is beginning to fade so it makes sense for him to cash out now. At 31 he is entering the twilight of his career. He doesn’t have much time left in the Argentinian national team. Retegui had one good season under a manager who is famous for valourizing offensive talents. He still had hills to climb if he would stayed in Europe. You cannot possibly think he is going to get better in Saudi Arabia. He is lacklustre for the Azzurri already. I don’t doubt that Gattuso is going to take him in the next round of call ups. But don’t be shocked if he’s completely dropped at the first bad performance
He might not get any better than the year he just had, but my point is as long as he is still banging in goals over there, he should be picked despite him being lackluster for us. To be frank, we don't have any world beaters up in attack.
Lecce need to sell Krstović so that Camarda is let loose. It also helps Milan is financially incentivizing Lecce to play Camarda this season.
Hoping for Camarda to succeed and Lecce to relegate. Teams like Lecce, Parma, Udinese, Pisa, and Hellas are disastrous for Azzurri. We can't have Serie A teams that fights for survival have a roster make-up of over 65% foreigners. Hoping we could swap 3 of them with Spezia, Empoli, Palermo, Juve Stabia, or Monza.
For me, I maintain other countries allowing their established players to play in third and fourth tier leagues could be a competitive advantage for Italia if we can get our players playing in the top leagues or back in Serie A. This would be forward thinking from the Italians, if they can see the trend and secretly move against it with our own.
