3pts is all that matters. there is nothing wrong with their performance only that he has tried this since 2018 only for it to fail every time he met a top 10 nation outside Germany 2020. First game last game these are his tactics. Players did what they were asked to do and did it well.

    Just curious….

Can someone initiate a Euro Cup all-purpose as opposed to posting everything here?

This is deeply offensive. Guaranteed there are better coaches in Serie C. It is beyond me that he still has a job after losing the final in 2021. He showed the world that he is indeed an actual eunuch

Calafiori and Pellegrini one yellow away from a one game suspension. Stupid rule.

Feels good to be right about starting Calafiori next to Bastoni and playing Chiesa on right wing. Stick with this Spalletti!

Suprissed to see Frattesi starting, he is linking up with Scamacca, just wish he had a better first time touch!

Dimarco should not be playing anywhere near the defense. Bosnia game 2 horrible back passes which Buongiorno and Donnarumma saved his ass. Then this game. Please Dimarco go forward not backward.

Spalletti great coaching until end when he was making defensive subs. Cambiaso for Chiesa. Jesus. Cristante with Jorginho, Darmain for Dimarco. That is how Inter Milan lost to Atletico.

Barella showed what we have been missing. He is our superstar player. Jorginho played great to, however I would like Fagioli to get in the game before Cristante. Our attacking depth is really bad.

It will be really interesting how we line up against Spain. Croatia first team to outposses them in 17 years. Do not want to see Dimarco on Yamal. We need to congeste the midfield so prolly Frattesi starts again with Pellegrini. Do not sit back on them, we need to press.

    - Fagioli was unavailable for this match (during the match I mistakenly suggested he come on to replace Pellegrini).

    - Chiesa took a knock and was absolutely gassed. He needed to come off but seeing as he shifted Right side, who would it have been? Couldn't be Zaccagni. El Sha?

    - Darmian/ Dimarco & Cristante/ Jorginho were like-for-like. If anything, should have happened 10-15 Minutes earlier. Ditto Retegui for Scamacca. Wish the 3rd goal was scored and I'm sure it would have been earlier.

    - This is why if Spalletti wants this as his first choice 11, need to win versus Spain so Pellegrini and Calafiori sit out the 3rd match. If not, will be Buongiorno and Fagioli surely.

    - I honesty didn't see a great match by Jorginho and I am not a hater of his like many others are. Read a stat about his Pass Completion and the article made it seem like it was so great. Yet Toni Kroos completed something like 101/102 in his opening match.

If we keep Jude away from suspension our style of play will work. He’s world class.

Just checked now. Carries over all the way until the end of the QF. Only wiped out after the QF.

IMO, this is harsh. Should be wiped clean after the Group Stage.

Checking season stats now, Calafiori only got 1 Yellow in 30 Apperances this past season. Pellegrini 7 Yellows in 29 Appearances. Calafiori does have it in him to tow the line to avoid it.

Lots of eyes on Calafiori now. It was smart for Bologna not to commit to any sale in the event that he had a good tournament. Now they’re saying that Real Madrid might be interested

Yeah, we ********ed up. Juve needed to get on it earlier.

We have personal terms agreed upon, his desire to join, just need Bologna to free him.

I hope Califiori goes to Juve to stick with Motta. Juve Italia is always good for the Azzurri.

If the money is right, I don’t see how he says no to Real. Especially now that they have Mbappe

there are worse things I just hope he would play when there. I think Italian players often receive a lot of critique from managers outside of Italy because of their physique. When there are bigger stronger players that show similar technique in training it can be hard to see the unique qualities of Italian footballers that are usually enhances by the Italian environment and tactical set up.

With Ancelotti I would be less worried than say going to PSG Bayern or EPL.

Can we stop for one second before we anoint this guy? I mean he got beat very badly when Albania almost equalized late. Hard to see that happening to Nesta or Maldini with the game on the line.

I think it's the long hair with the thin headband in the front. This look was big in European soccer for a long time. Calafiori bringing it back. Along with Baresi, those are three (minus Calafiori naturally) of the ten greatest CB's in football history (with Maldini #1 at LB to boot).

I think if Verratti played in the Saudi League he would have been picked. There is a big drop off from Saudi league to Qatar. I also doubt Verratti showed any interest in being picked.

2 tournaments. And we got one trophy out of him. That’s more than a lot of legends can say.

Marco played like shit in his last year at PSG. Took a pay out and now his playing with Serie C level players in the Middle East. It’s over Johnny. I’d rather go ahead with a player like Fagioli
