I remember you last year telling us a little about Omar Gonzalez, at least I think I read it from you? He sure is a giant. Does he have any local connections? And, is this the guy that some projected as a first rounder had he decided to leave last year?

Omar is a local, played on the great Dallas Texas team of a few years ago. He's trained with Dallas a bunch of times in the past. He's likely a first rounder if he signs.

but I rate Ike Opara higher.

Omar was also on the Texans team that beat Santos in the Dallas Cup in 2006 was it?

Not sure how he rates w/ others, and not sure about his quickness.... but he is one big @ss kid, and a force to be reckoned w/ on corner kicks.

Lyle Adams, the Wake Forest left-sided defender, sounds good from your description. seems a high percentage of Wake Forest prospects go on to do well in MLS, so that always catches my eye. not every inch as tall as some people, but would he pretty much be at the top of the list of left-siders?

I'd rather draft Hall and stick him back there. He's a GA.
