I thought AK7 did well considering

Carmona and Vilchez did have to many problems

and that caused Mudo and AK7 to be caught out at times

MOTM: Palito Pereira. Todos los ataques comenzaron con él.

Flop: Carmona. Si hizo un pase bueno, fue todo.

PS: A Uruguay-Paraguay final would be just great. A team that attacks very well, versus the most impenetrable defense in current football.

No offense, but Peru doesn't know how to take the initiative. If ever scored on first, like today, there's no proper retaliation.

they looked more offensive once vargas went off

but that could be because Uruguay stopped attacking

either way yeah team needs way more balance

    and definetly play a 4-3-3

Congrats Uruguay! A well deserved victory.

And Peru played their hearts out... Guerrero is such a fighter.

Peru did not have the players to scored a goal. Vargas was sent out .

Its like asking uruguay to scored without forlan and suarez up front.

Markarian knew how hard it was going to be for peru to scored without our main players out of the tournament, thats one of the main reasons peru has played mostly focus on defense rather than offense the whole tournament.

We did what we could with what we had. It worked until now , uruguay got a break with their first goal and we started playing careless.

It may be a whole different story for quaifiers as we should be getting our starters up front back . Markarian may decide to change a lot of things. It should boost our offence , and hopefully it wont hurt our defensive

Same old story with Uruguay and their "Garra charrua" = Uruguayan rugby

Peru weren't going to win, but the referee did a nice job helping Uruguay win a lot easier by not calling a hand-ball by Uruguay that was a penalty, no red card for Lugano after almost knocking out Guerrero.

Everybody today got to see why Uruguay is the national team that I hate the most.

That is very true. Markarian's Peru is a team that knows the script when the other team has the initiative.

And that is why we need Farfan

Its cool, we can usually handle them better. But tonight their world class play showed. Peru has alot to go still.

not only farfan . We also need

pizarro , ramirez, aguirre , fernandez, merino

You look at markarian's bench and he doesnt really have anyone to put up front. Sooner or later it was going to bite us in the bu t t having all these injuries.

Vargas red card also didnt help.

Hats off to markarian for being able to take peru to the semifinals with all the players he had missing.

Like i said , i dont think many of us (peruvians) expected this team to go this far after one after another our players got injured. Guerrero is a warrior and vargas played well as a second forward , event though thats not his position.

Markarian did what he could with what he had available and he took us further than what most of us expected.
