Yup, you could see how much difference a couple of players make, specially against a team as talented and deep as the US. As a matter of fact, that was one of the criticism that the commentators had for the Americans, that given their depth, they should be able to play multiple variables and formations, but they seemed stuck on the same old lineup and little variation of their script... until they brought in a few subs and really capitalized their options.

Our senior side will be playing here in San Diego in their group stage of the women's gold cup. I may attend the match against Brazil since it's on the weekend! Gotta support our women!

Got my ticket. Apparently it also pays for Panama vs Puerto Rico but I am only gonna show up for us vs Brazil.
A loss sucks but they did significantly improve. That being said I am sure they're gonna win over Puerto Rico in their last group stage match.
We won of course. But damn Brazil destroyed Panama like nothing. All quarter finals will be in LA and the semi finals as well as the final will be here again in San Diego.
In that traffic? HELL NO. Hell even had the men's US side made it to the gold cup final last year I was still effy on making that trip.
