Apparently none of them 3 wins counted for the FIFA ranking and we went down one place.

    Oh, no...

Well, at least that's good news for Ghana and Kenya.

It was close but Chile women got past Cameroon. Now they will have to face some heavy hitters in Tokyo. To be amongst the best 12 ain't bad.

Chile finishes their European tour after playing Slovakia and Germany without scoring a single goal. One loss and one tie. The team needs badly a couple of women who can score goals and a new Coach.

It seems that each time coach Jose Letelier screws up with one player that the captain Endler has to come out and publicly defend his actions. There must be a lot of tension in that dressing room.

Three up, three down. Will coach Letelier finally resign or is he going to continue sucking up to the Federation.

Letelier is reading the writing on the wall so he is now deflecting everything to the "cuerpo tecnico" to cover his behind.

In the south american championship, with diferent coach to "the Octopus" Letelier, played twice against Colombia, and lost both times.

Coach Letelier keeps on floundering the national team. This time he lost to Venezuela. I will rejoice when he finally packs it in. The guy is just a moron.

July 11 Chile start competing for the Copa America. Since we are looking at a failure to advance out of their group, I sincerely hope this will mark the firing of Jose Letelier once and for all. Whomever takes over can't do any worse.

Tomorrow Letelier faces a strong opponent Paraguay with 4 key players out with Covid. His chances of a result are diminishing by the minute.

Unfortunately the Federation kept Jose Letelier in charge of the La Roja. He should have been fired for incompetent. I anticipate some players will now refuse to play for Letelier.
