@Ombak @celito How about a new Seleção Brasileira thread - perhaps post-2026 World Cup? The 2022-2026 ciclo is over and it's time to rebuild (and with Ancelotti on board until 2030, properly this time). We have a friendly vs. Australia in September and that's the first step after this summer. And then there's 2030 WCQ, and with three CONMEBOL teams already qualified (by virtue of each hosting one match), it's 7 teams including us. Brazil is therefore guaranteed in 2030, but it remains to be seen how strong a contender Brazil will be.

I am planning on it and have several articles bookmarked to kick off the next thread.

Of I'm not mistaken the 3 qualified teams will participate in the qualifying schedule. The format is still unknown though. I think qualifying starts September 2027 on the current schedule.
