I wonder if not calling up Oscar is to give him a break or if there's more to it....

Chance for Coutinho to shine. Everton has no business on this team. I'm okay with every body else

It;s good for Everton Ribeiro because the season in UAE it's almost over, but Tardelli should stay to help Luneng.

Dunga stated Oscar got injured in Chelsea's last trainingn session, and he also stated that they spoke to Mourinho and with Chelsea's doctor. The recovery will take some time and he won't be at h is best. Therefore, he was "preserved" so he's in top shape for World Cup qualifying.

Probably the best for him. This also opens up a prime opportunity for Coutinho to establish himself as a contributor to the Seleção.

Dunga probably should of taken a risk and call up one of Felipe Anderson or Lucas Moura over Douglas Costa.

Will Thiago Silva and Miranda be the starting full-backs? Please no cabeleira as starter.

Should have called Alves for winger since he found his crossing again, right?

Remember nothing is set in stone!! Dunga named his team way early and expect a change or 2 due to injury!!

Lucas Moura and Lucas Lima could've been there, easily, but Dunga didn't have time to test them. Our CMF options are really ugly.... Otherwise, I think we are very strong and more than capable enough to win it.... Though it will be one hell of a tournament With Brazil/Argentina/Uruguay/Chile/Colombia all possible candidates for the title.

Lucas being injured most of the 2nd half of the season is what cost him a spot.

I don't know why anyone is surprised Dunga didn't call up any new names. He purposely said he wasn't going to early on and I believed him. What annoys me is that our starting lineup is already set. Why not bring up someone like Allan, Lucas, or F.Anderson to at least get a vibe of the group as a backup?

Germany brought Cristoph Kramer to the World Cup training camp without having a cap and he still made the team and even got to start the final, although he didn't finish. I just don't get why Dunga can't do the same. What the hell has Douglas Costa showed to be on the squad over Lucas/Felipe?

I like the Fabinho and Casemiro ones though.

by playing as a winger on a team which can out talent any other mid field bar the other super teams.

Most of the FBs on superteams play that way, they got enough backup to prevent the other team from putting pressure on them.

A real shame that Oscar is injured - he is desperately needed. There is no other player with his characteristics except.......................GANSO.
Yes, I think a bad mistake not taking Ganso, yeh yeh I know, he didn't do that well in previous call ups, but hey let's face it, Ganso is a craque, and a player of his talent cannot be ignored - plus currently he is playing extremely well (just take a look at yesterday's game against meu querido Mengao).

Well there is a crucial difference between oscar and Ganso: Oscar works his socks off when we don't have the ball, Ganso doesn't. I don't think Dunga would like that.

About the reserves: Well am I going to hell if I wish that Douglas costa gets a minor injury, just enough to make him miss the Copa, and then Felipe Anderson gets called? :devilish: And damn, Lucas wasn't called, not even as a reserve.

Sad to see that Marcelo Grohe and Neto are ahead of Rafael :(
