Here are the teams that will be in Group IV of Segunda B this coming season. The Canary Island teams no longer will be in this group therefore the teams from La Mancha have replaced them.

Yes they do, or they did, or god knows what else. I remember they were having financial problems recently (again). The thing is that they are now in 3rd division, when a team with their history, stadium and home city should really be in 2A.

I believe they have two teams. Granada and Granada 74. Don't know much about their history, but I'd have to agree with Iberian, with the size of their city, they should be like Cordoba, 2A with a chance to move into Primera.

I have heard that both teams have experienced financial difficulties and languishing in Tercera Group 9 will do that to a club.

Does the top team from each of the four groups get promoted to Segunda A or is their some sort of playoff system? Quango

This division is called "El Pozo", or "The Well", because it is very easy to drop in and very difficult to get out.

There are 4 groups, 1 through 4. The first four teams of each will have a playoff at the end of the year, so there will be four playoffs in four different groups of four teams. The first from each goes to 2nd div.

Yes, it is a mini league in which the 4 teams have round robin play, the winner of that group gets promoted. So even if you win your division you still have to play another 6 games just to see if you can go up.

Yes it is. My home team was a "classic" in 2nd div., playing there all of the 60s, 70s, after being in first a couple of times. We fell to 2nd div. B then and took almost two decades to come up again to A, after topping 2nd B group IV I don't know how many times. It's not a fair system. We were in 2nd recently 3 years (the second time we finished 10th) dropped again the next year and god knows how long it's going to take to come up again. You need time to find stability in 2A, and you can't make any mistakes there either. 2B is a nightmare. You see, you can't even keep foreign players in B, so teams get dismantled easily, dropping into it means having to completely reassemble a squad and start from scratch.

You're right, and the teams that were in Primera in the 90's like Hercules, Compostela and others have fallen into the Black Hole that is Segunda B, and they are going to have a tough time making it back to Segunda, much less Primera. Unfortunately, Rayo Vallecano also succumbed to that fate last season, being relegated from Segunda A and basically having to start from scratch after 3 or 4 season in Primera. It's worse than moving down from Primera (well, kind of)...
