Anyone got this CD yet? There popular single is Fine Again. Sounds like it's pretty good. Worth the dough?
By the thread title I thought you were talking about the Veruca Salt. Those were some hot chicks that could rock. Are they still around?
I was hooked on the song from Madden '02 (or 3 or whatever the hell the new one is). I got the album and it is pretty good.
Heck yeah I got the Seether album the day it came out. Seether is great. They are good post grunge, hard rock type band. You could never tell that they are from South Africa they seem to be heavily influenced by Nirvana.
How does the new Chevelle compare to the first album? The new CD I've been digging lately is Filter. I would have liked it anyway, 'cause their drummer is a buddy of mine (and, damn, he lays it down on this), but the songs are actually better than I expected by a fair margin. Veruca Salt still exists, sort of. Louise is the only original member left, as she and Nina had a huge falling out. They have a female bassist that you should ask Jeff Bradley about, and a bunch of other guys, including someone I went to college with on guitar. Later, COZ
Cool, thanks for the info. I'm guessing they haven't had anything on the radio in a few years though. Is Jeff Bradley dating one of those chicks or something?
LOL. No, he's not dating a member of Veruca Salt. He, Halamadrid and I went to see them after a Fire game, though. I'll wait to see if he comes by and wants to tell that story. Later, COZ
