Okay, people, between Wednesday night's handling of profanity and the little miscommunication about the big Puma jersey, I'm starting to think we've lost some of the good communication between the section and the Fire front office that we've had in the past.

So, the question is, who can we count on to fix it? I've done a lot of this in the past as the Barnburner rep, and would be willing to continue, but it needs to be more than just one guy. Basically, the plan would be for day-of-game issues and whatnot to come to our attention so we can try to fix them without making a scene.

The main prerequisites are that you're at most home games, in Section 8, are responsible, and don't get shitfaced beforehand. The point is not to antagonize, nor to be a narc, it's to make sure everybody is at least close to the same page. Let me know if you're interested.

It's in the roadtrip thread. The Fire wanted to use it in the 3v3 tourney this weekend, and we wanted to bring it to KC. I had at least five different Fire staffers ask me about it in the 24 hours after the game ended.

There is/was no miscommunication with regard to the jersey flag, at least not on the part of Section 8.

I talked to PW today, and the flag belongs to the supporters. It was a gift from Puma. If someone from the club wants to use it, and we want to use it , and the interests conflict, we have the right to say no. Which, for this weekend, we did.

The staff is supposed to ask permission if they want to use that or any of our other flags/banners/etc.
