Loud And Proud Alright, I've seen all sorts of comments all year about the family atmosphere at Cardinal. Well, next week it's got to be loud. Here's the chance to do something about it. This is what it's all about. Everyone on here (except Crew trollers) should go out and buy two more tickets and bring your two loudest friends. If 100 people on here do that, that's 200 more loud voices on Sunday. We don't expect the team to quit, so why should we? Time to get loud ladies and gentlemen. I want Buddle, McBride, and the rest of the Village People crapping in their shorts next Sunday. Let's get to work!
i'm bringing two people along anyway...they might not be the "loudest people i know" but two more voices are better than nothing, eh?
one of them is my date for my school's homecoming, which is a week after the game. i told her if she's not cheering/singing, she can count herself out of a date.
No mercy next week. Time to get loud boyz and gals. We have to do our part in the stands because I don't want the season to end yet. HEY FIRE GO Matt
And another thing: Get your goddamn ass to the stadium and in section eight 30 minutes ahead of time! None of this drinking until kickoff, or sitting in the bar and wandering over when you hear the national anthem....be there when we are warming up on the field! Drink after the damn game, or start earlier! No excuses!
This will also prevent the ever present youth teams from sitting in our section. The last two games I have personally gotten a truckload of them to move up or out, but they are a neverending stream of wholesome suburbia. Come early!
EXACTLY. NO EXCUSES. Section Eight can and MUST be a SEETHING MASS well before the teams take the Field for introductions. Sunday IS the playoffs for us. NO EXCUSES.
I'll undoubtedly change my mind on this by Sunday, but I'm almost thinking of keeping quiet until the Fire score a goal. Give us something to cheer for, and we'll cheer. Again, this is just the bitter disappointment of the last four weeks talking. I'll get over it. Later, COZ
I want Section 8 chanting, cheering BEFORE our team hits the field. It should NOT be quiet before they start playing. We should cheer & chant straight through half time. No excuses.
again, i'm totally game for chanting and singing before the game, at halftime, whenever. it just never really seems to mateialize during the game. LETS DO IT FOR REAL THIS TIME!
Liam and I don't always see eye to eye, but this time, he's 100% right. The nail has been hit right on the head. LOUD AND PROUD!
And you can count yourself out of a little post-dance nookie in the back of the Dodge. Think, man, think!
No ***************in kids. If anyone see's kids sneaking in section 8 you better kick their a**es out.
How about no non-regular non-chearing ************ing kids. My kid's are there every week screaming their asses off like everybody else. They were in Milwaukee, they were in Dallas, they were in Columbus and they will be there Sunday.
I'm mean the kids that are dropped of by their parents like were suppose to babysit them. Any regular section 8er's with kids are always more than welcome. Any kids or families that look like they are lost please kick them out.
I'll be there with loud friends on Sunday, but depending on how the other games go on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, it is possible that the Fire will already be eliminated from the playoffs, and be playing to avoid the wooden spoon.
No, this is incorrect. A win gets us into the playoffs no matter what. KC, Metros and NE are all on 35 points, we have 34. Metros are playing NE so either one team get's 3 points and the other get's 0 (leaving one on 35 points) or they both get one (leaving both with 35 points). A win by the Fire gives us 37 points. There is probably a way we even get in with a tie, with tiebrakers and such, but I don't even want to think about that mess. Either way, a win gets us in, period.
Wrong, see other thread where I explained it is impossible for fire to be out of playoffs before they play sunday.
