Soto entered in the 80th minute, trailing 1-0. Fitzwater equalized in the 90th. Seems like Soto was not involved.

Incidentally ... Pittman's 300th game for Livingston. Amazing.

He joined at the end of January so he's been eligible for 15 games, of which didn't even make the squad for 5. His 10 appearances include only 1 start and he's got 0 goals, 0 assists and 0 yellow or red cards with an average PT of 19.

Pretty underwhelming for a soon-to-turn 22 international who's been on the books at 3 Top Six clubs.

Can someone remember why everyone was so interested in this guy 18 months ago?

Well, Weah, Gioacchini, Hoppe, Konrad, and Pepi haven't done any better. So, that's basically why he was on the map: for the most part, in the forward position, we have zero bite.

He was a goal scoring machine, for his MLS academy team and he scored several goals with the U20s. Also, he scored 2 goals for the USMNT.

I forgot that he had 7 goals in 12 appearances, while playing in the Dutch 2nd division.

Yeah, I wouldn't give up on him just yet. He's barely going on 22 years old.

Weah I think will be fine the issue is that he's moved around a lot has Lille has really struggled to find any form in 2022. I think if/when he goes to a system that allows him to be a winger he will flourish more.

And with just a little luck, Weah will find his way back to his own thread.

Regarding Soto, I don't see the rush to give up on him entirely, and certainly no reason not to wish him the best of luck. With Norwich City relegated, Soto should double down on his fitness and go to camp ready to compete for a spot right there.

    On Weah... fair lol

On Soto, sounds like he needs to humble himself. He seemed On the right track at Fortuna Sittard but the attitude was the issue.

Actually, it was Telstar in D2. He never signed for Sittard

Like Weah, Gioacchini, Hoppe, Konrad and Pepi, Soto seems destined to finish the season without scoring in his league.

Soto came off at 60', as part of a three-player substitution, trailing 0-1, and the subs helped turn the game, as Livingston prevailed 2-1.

Soto will be headed back to Norwich FC this summer. Curious to see if he and Sargent play together, that would be nice.

I’m not sure if many Norwich supporters agree with you that it’d be “nice”

    They'd probably slit their wrists.

That or put an early deposit on their League 1 season tickets. :(

Lemme reply the BigSoccer way: "He's only 21. At his age Miroslav Klose was playing in K'slautern's second team in the third German division!"
