Seb Hines to Oldham on loan

    just saw it on Sky Sports. Oldham currently in a playoff position in League One....memories of Kenny Cooper years ago...:)

    If he's gonna play for us he has to decide soon, because he's creeping up on 21, if i'm not mistaken, and he's already played for England youth teams.

    Hines was on loan at Derby last month but didn't make a first team appearance, which is a bit disappointing. Hopefully he's found his level (for now) at League 1 and get some games under his belt. There's nothing wrong with playing League 1 ball at age 20, but I'll admit I thought he would stick a bit better at Derby.

    I think you're right. And he has until May before he turns 21. I'd be willing to bet he doesn't declare for us, but there's no harm in holding out hope.

    It looks like Hines has returned to Middlesbrough and could be competing for a starting spot there this year.

    And he's still eligible to play for the USMNT under the new rules if he ever develops :D

    If he starts for Middlesborough this season he deserves a look after the WC.
