Hines played the first half of a 4-1 preseason friendly win against Tirgu Mures yesterday. He played 291 minutes for Middlesbrough in the Championship last year playing in 4 games (3 starts). He picked up a yellow card. Middlesbrough finished in 13th in the Championship last year. He also made 4 starts in the U-21 Premier League where he scored a goal and picked up a yellow card.
