Missed the first assist. Jebo assisted on the second. None of this secondary assist crap.

Also, “best ref in MLS” was shit. He fell for a ton of dives, called fouls on us that he let them get away with.

He gave us three yellow cards and them none, but they deserved at least two.

We really suffer from the tendency of refs to go lighter on the “good” teams and harsher on the “bad” teams.

    Bunch of crap!

The assist on the Pellegrino goal was a good pass but little bit generous because Pellegrino kind of assisted himself. He headed the ball straight into the ground, it bounced up, and Pelligrino stuck his boot in and scored.

TT and Yueill probably won't be back next season. Yueill has a better chance, but I hope he tests free agency and goes back to Minnesota.

Gruezo sucks as usually I want that guy gone yesterday. Munie couldn't figure out how to control the ball on turf, Hernan continues to show he wasn't worth the big bucks and probably helping contribute to the "Hey Fisher, You spend money, I'm still gonna be shit, so why not buy shit for cheap hedge fund". Not a good sign Ochoa wasn't on the bench and Jackson was.

I hope we sell Ochoa, Waive Jackson, Trade JT Marcinkowski, and FIRE Yarbrough

I hope Preston Judd never comes back, I hope we never see Rodriguez after this year as well.

I can't argue with any of the above. I think Yuell could use a change of scenery, and with a better team, he may be able to contribute.

Good call out on Munie. I didn't think of the turf causing problems.

Munie was struggling with the speed of the ball and miss judging how to play the ball on turf, that will come with experience. But he needs to figure it out fast because regardless what people think, these guys will be playing on both Turf and Grass.

Verhoeven was incredibly disappointing last night and as many said, if Daniel wasn't in goal we would have lost by 5 or 7. Verhoeven was slow to the ball, almost always out of position, had struggles keeping his mark, he lost his mark a number of times, his touch was incredible NCAA level, his speed of play was NCAA level and he's got a lot of seasoning to do to become a regular MLS contributing player. Still has some potential, but we saw his true level last night against one of the upper level MLS teams. I do not want to see him against Miami or the Galaxy.

I have to call out that Pelle had a good game. Aside from the goal, he made some defensive plays, he made some good passes to teammates, and he cut into the middle to make some connecting plays. Not brilliant, but good.

I bring this up because we’re likely to have him next season. We can’t cut the whole roster and start over. He’s our leading scorer (not saying much). So I don’t think we’re going to cut him. Also, is he on a one or two year contract? That may be the critical factor.

Think about the guys you want gone. Make a list. Order it by who you want to get rid of the most. I think for most of us, Pelle will not be at the top. That will be Gruezo, Morales, Yueill (for many anyway), Judd, maybe Jebo, TT, Hodrigues?, or Wilson? maybe Beason? ‘Brough, Jacob J, maybe Ocha (on a sale), Baldisimo. It’s a long list of deadwood and we need good replacements for those guys. I think Pelle sticks, but I won’t blow a gasket if he goes.

The Aftershock guys were talking about a comment he made about "not being happy at all" but they totally left it hanging as to the context, and somehow they didn't seem to know the context either? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Not sure what use it is to discuss that comment unless there's any idea what the context is.

Anyway, as far as I can tell he likes it here well enough. Most likely he was talking about his own performance and the performance of the team. Pretty sure he's on a 2-year contract so we'll have him next year unless we transfer him out somewhere or trade him. I know he does get frustrated a lot when he doesn't get the ball. There will be a couple of plays per game where he's standing open inside the box, he doesn't get the pass and he's wringing his hands. That's something I saw him do in Norway too so it's not necessarily only a Quakes thing but I'm sure he gets frustrated at times guys not looking for him on the back post. I think one example was Gruezo inside the box shooting near post (and missing wide) instead of cutting it back to 'Grino and possibly someone else. Gruezo should never shoot. He's terrible at it.

Postgame 'Grino did make a comment about how the league is different and it's taken him a long time to adjust. Even though he leads the team in goals with 7 I think he could easily be in double digits if he executed better. I know he's supposed to be a great finisher but he hasn't shown it too much this year.

He also made a comment about trying to finish the season well and aim for a better season next year, so I'm pretty sure he plans on staying. I'm sure he wouldn't mind making another $1M before going back home. Of course the team could have other ideas.

The only thing I disagree with is the trading Marcinkowski, he would be a great back-up for Daniel. I definitely do not want to see a Yarbrough-like goalie ever again. And the absolute third thing we need to do (after getting rid of Yarbrough and Jackson, is get rid of Judd. What a useless dead weight.

I thought Munie pulled a hammie last game? If so, he should not have been playing

Gruezo needs to go. One of our most expensive players, and he’s shit.
Morales is good, but too old. He needs to go.
Baldisimo is crap. He needs to go.
As you say, Judd, OUT! But also one of Jebo or Bouda. (I’d keep Bouda.)
Richmond, Walls, and TT need to go.
Maybe Rodrigues if Wilson can return to health. Maybe Rodrigues out even if Wilson cannot return to health.
    Adin Brown needs to go.
Why is Ralston on the coaching staff? We could ditch him too.
And there are others who could stand to get the sack.

I’m up for a blood letting!

    Go Quakesfans!!
