Oscar Verhoven is almost a step too slow for MLS at the moment, that includes every aspect of his game. He's also constantly out of position or getting smoked.
Jackson Yueill and Jeremy Ebobisse in for Hernán López Muñoz and Niko Tsakiris. GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
Tending on X is the best thing tonight... San Jose Clash lol Yes I know, run on of words... you rimjobs.
I’ve been listening to Mark Rogondino and I don’t understand why he keeps pumping up the Quakes as such a good team and so talented… Either he or Heath Pearce mentioned that Espinoza had 13 goals last year and only 4 this year. I was wondering to myself, why is that? It seems like last year, people would send Espi longish balls up the touchline, and he would then cross the ball in or shoot. I don’t remember who was sending him the ball tho. Anyhow, why isn’t that happening this year? Secondly, I didn’t realize Jordan Morris is only 29. Why hasn’t he been getting USMNT callups lately? Lastly, I was thinking that Munie has a lot of potential. Then I saw he is 24. This is his 2nd season… Why is he so old?
Because everyone whines when the commentators clown the Quakes and homer the other team, and when they do talk about the Quakes in positive light, the fans complain as well. Logic? Because everyone bitched and moaned about him on the National Team and being in MLS so GGG tucked his tiny penis and stopped calling in MLS players. He will return to the National Team by the January camp at the latest. Munie graduated college thats why he's so old. He's got 5-6 years left in his career.
Yes. I gave up spending actual money and time to watch anything soccer other than US international games... But I'd love for @Goodsport's wish above for the next era of competent-to-great Earthquake soccer to change my mind.
Between Verhoeven, Tsakiris, Cowell, and the early signings that didn’t pan out, it seems like MLS should bar us from trying to develop anyone.
The thing is, there’s nothing positive to be said about the Quakes this season. So I’d rather Rogondino be honestly negative rather than cloyingly positive.
No... MLS should continue to let us lose all the talented guys from our academy (Callender, Luna, Barajas etc), and they should bar us from signing any of our own talent.
W. Nancy is great, but again, is building upon a solid foundation. The stadium, the training center, the reserves, youth academy…
Tommy Thompson with the w/e the hell he's doing with his hair makes his head look like an uncircumsized penis.
The final score is: 2 – 2 GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G P.S. = Please don't post results of other soccer (including MLS) games and other sports' games in this thread until at least 24 hours after they've ended.
Well if Verhoeven didn't look like a complete jackass on both goals we gave up, we'd have won the game.
With today’s draw, the San Jose Earthquakes retain the MLS Heritage Cup for the third consecutive year. GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
