Good points here. When their fullbacks get forward after winning the ball back I'd attack behind them all night. I'd also sit Juninho and start MDL behind Niko and drop Basti back with McCarty. There will be holes in the defense and as good as Basti is, MDL is better at finding those holes. Let's give the other guys something to think about and react to for once.

Jones is third or fourth best in league and Vincent is about sixth or seventh. People on this thread just seem to have a vendetta against him. The rest of the league thinks he's pretty good.

Folks are chaffed because we basically gave away a VG young (improving) player for effing peanuts. No mystery here. As to Vincent, he was gifted the position his rookie year. Pretty much over his head. Has been much improved this year. MLS starter quality? Yes. 6th or 7th best LB? Could be, but am really dubious about that claim.

I will admit there are a couple players I overrate due to ego (Campbell, Conner, Calistri, Johnson), but I don't even see what Will Parchman apparently sees in him to call him "one of the league’s steadiest players at the position"(source). That's what I mean when I say we don't rate him as much as the rest of the league does.
