I am planning on attending the national game against El Salvador on the 17th, but I had a question about the seats. I was on ticketmaster and they said the best available was in 234. Are you fairly close in those seats and how good are those? Thanks.
That would put you: -Opposite side from the players bench -About at the top of the 18-yard box -One section up from field level -Decent view -A little behind and off to the side from our fan groups Barra Brava and Screaming Eagles -Basically not bad seats I sit behind the goal so I am speculating a little but they still don't look to be too bad
234 is directly above the Nest/Barra Brava and has great sightlines (right at midfield). Depending on the crowd, standing may be discouraged by your neighbors.
If you want great seats, PM Sachin and see if there's still room in La Norte. It's selling out fast!!
232 is my favorite section for DC United games at RFK. It strikes a really good balance between atmosphere (singing, etc) and seeing the game, which I have a lot of trouble with sitting in either the Nest or La Norte. That said I'm sitting in LaNorte for the friendly and my season tickets are in the mezzanine. Go figure.
Don't worry about me sitting, I will be standing if at all possible the whole time and screaming my lungs out.
