Are season tickets on par with the other teams, arent't they too expensive for a third div soccer league ? Just curious, not trying to troll.
Their SS section is only about $80 more than ours (Riverhounds) which isn't too bad, but their sideline seats are like $200-300 more which is rather pricey.
The Republic season ticket prices are based on twenty games; 14 reg season games, three friendlies and three playoffs. If they don't make the playoffs (or friendlies don't occur), you get prorated refund. understanding the number of games in the package helps when comparing against other teams season ticket prices. That being said, the Republic season tickets appear to be on the high end for the league, on par with Orando ( and with San Antonio and Indy of NASL)
Ah that explains some of it. The Hounds are only for 15 (afaik) so the price per game, comparing the supporters sections, is actually the same +/- a dollar or so.
The stated goal was 5,500 season tickets sold by April 3. Report today says they've sold 3,700 so far. To meet the goal, they need to sell 1800 more tickets in around 70 days. That's about 26 tickets a day.
I think they will cruise to 5500. It's been moving along steadily, with the jersey unveiling and 1st player signing as only "big" event since the ticket sale launch. They sold 1000 in the first day
Are they higher than Phoenix's were last year? Phoenix had $39, $29, $25, $19, $18, $16, $14, $12 and $9.
Breaking down the season ticket prices to a per game price (Season tickets based on 20 games) : Supporters $11.55 Endline $12.55 Sideline $20.55 Center midfield $25.40 Center Mid Premium (bench side) $27.40 VIP $50.00
Not a lot of End line $12.55 tickets, though. Club seating is soccer club-based, minimum 25 tickets ~ $340 per season ticket :
I believe the ticket prices are a part of the "road to MLS" strategy. Makes our prices in-line with the upper eschelon of USL Pro (namely Orlando), and comparable to some MLS clubs, and then sell 5500 season tickets (and probably have a waiting list)........(and politely remind Garber that Sacramento is only Div 3) Not to mention that 5500 season tickets beat out almost 1/4 of MLS teams for last year in season ticket sales https://www.bigsoccer.com/community/...ved-season-ticket-holder-count.1944405/page-6
And per their ticket exec, they are waiting for final confirmation about stadium location before the next big marketing push
Passed the 4000 mark for season ticket deposits Ryan Lillis @Ryan_Lillis 3h .@SacRepublicFC says it's surpassed 4,000 deposits for season tickets. Goal is 5,000 before season starts in April.
Still have no idea what the end line community tickets I bought will put me or how I will be able to use them.
Season ticket deposits at 4300, as reported by SRFC email. Looks like sales are slowing down. I wonder if they will have another marketing push now that the stadium appears finalized?
I wonder how many people will ask for refunds for being misled into thinking that the will be playing the whole season at Cal Expo.
Not many, since many of those deposits were made before Cal Expo was even an option. Misled is a pretty strong word, IMO. The Republic made it sound like an almost sure thing, but never guaranteed anything. They also said that SSC was the fallback option. The delays were on the State, too. That explains a lot.
Yes, ever since Cal Expo came into play, the Republic has always said that Hughes would remain the venue if necessary. Plus, the deposits are refundable, so it's not like a depositor is out anything if they're unsatisifed with the prospect that games may be played at Hughes. Getting a deal done with the State, and Ovations, and Republic is a handful, I'm sure. Pretty amazing that it appears to be on the cusp of happening, tbh.
Jesus, will you stop? Anyone who plunked down money on season tickets probably takes a little longer view of the situation and is more invested than you give them credit for, Noob.
