I received my renewal form yesterday (seems pretty early!), but maybe AH is thinking of making a splash next season for a DP - season tickets are going up either $40 or $20 depending on where you sit. If you renew by November you lock in the same price as this year.

(okay, I'm being sarcastic about the DP, but prices are going up)

I received mine last night. It is really early.

I would feel sorry for the season ticket guys if they every called or otherwise contact me for any reason (other than when there was a problem with my automatic payment).

I was gonna mention this in the DPlol thread but i don't know the exact number of season ticket holders and how much extra they're making.

    Brace for Ronaldinho? :)

Got mine last night as well. It really is early to begging the fans to renew while hiking the prices...

    :ninja:

It's still a great deal price-wise. I'll do the usual wait to last second to renew thing...

I got mine as well. I'm debating whether or not to renew because my wife is pregnant and we're due in November and usually it's the 2 of us that go but with a new one on the way that's going to make things a little more complicated. I wish if it came to it that I could renew and sell games I couldn't make but since we don't sell out hardly ever those tickets probably wouldn't sell. Guess i'll discuss with the wife.

I noticed they changed the redemption policy for next season, you can only redeem tickets BEFORE the game is played. WTF? It's not like we are selling games out, aside from LA.

Put's the little one at a decent age to start bringing once it's nice out (next year). Up to 2 years old are free. Already bought my 5 month old a ticket tho when he was born tho. It's worked out cause i almost always have a 3rd to go and if not, later redeem those unused tix for more when i have a bigger group.

I bought the little man some inexpensive earmuffs so he can enjoy himself during the fireworks and cheering. Don't need him to be def by the time he can use his ticket. In fact i'll probably make him wear earplugs then.

There is waaaaaaaaay to much up in the air to commit to next year. We could be solidly back in a "rebuilding" phase again. Robayo, Grazzini, Pappa, Freidrich, Pardo are almost certainly gone. Alex has indicated that he wants to go back to Europe. We have a one trick pony and nothing else at forward. Will Johnson try to make the Euro leap this January?

Sorry. I've been close to not renewing a few times recently. The club is doing little to win my trust at this point. Instead of asking me for my commitment in July, why don't you show me YOUR commitment to winning THIS season.

Yeah, tough to build a team around aging players and young-ish players who are constantly dreaming of Europe. Feeder leagues feed.

On paper this team was ideal.

    Execution is the key

Will Johnson hasn't been on the Fire in years. I believe he plays for RSL now.

So half of the starting lineup will/could be gone next year (Grazzini, Pappa, Freidrich, Alex , Pardo and Johnson). They don't spend any kind of money upgrading the team, they say they want to spend Keane money (all talk) and on top of it they increased ticket prices (yeah I would jump on the offer). But I'm not a current season ticket holder (thank god), but I was considering it, but not so much anymore.

Aren't the Sox still selling season tickets for -this- season? Doesn't that entitle them to right-of-irst-refusal for all post-season home games, up to and including the World Series? Seems to me to be the better investment right now. Just sayin'.

They'll blow it in the playoffs. They will. You'll see.

Who will be a playoff failure? The Fire, the Sox, or both?
Look at it in terms of investment. When the Sox go to the first round of the playoffs, you can break even scalping the tickets. Same thing for the Fire? Nope. I'm sure even Fire Chief Andy appreciates tossing a good chunk of change on a sport or sports team in a city or part of a city you wouldn't be caught but certainly found dead in..... um, yeah, I think even he would give the Cubs fans his blessing to buy Sox season tickets.
