I have not received anything from DC on information on parking passes, etc. Has anyone gotten any information? Do I need to call and berate my ticket rep?
The ticketmistress for the Screaming Eagles reported that the team was expecting the tickets from the printer this week and that they would be mailing out the books and parking passes (and if you're lucky a free gift) as soon as they arrive.
From the same source as Mr. Lowecifer (if that is his real name), DC United negotiates each year with the parking people. Those negotiations may or may not be completed but once they are the passes will be sent...
Sent an email to the front office about when they are shipping out season tickets and got this in reply. "You can expect to see them in the mail anytime between March 16th and March 26th." I have changed my address and with them cutting it so close I hope they get to me in time.
The tickets are/were being printed in Arkansas, coming up the river by barge, and then will be sent UPS to your house, or where DC United thought you might have lived last year
OK - let me be more specific. I have ordered season tickets. They usually send out a form asking if you want to purchase parking passes before the season starts. I have not received anything about parking passes - from what others are saying it seems as though I should have by now. Correct?
Correct. You should have already gotten information on parking pass. I have not recieved anything recently. I am getting mine through SE and the Ticket Mistress, you should probably give your rep. a call.
Yeah, I hadn't heard anything about parking passes before the Ticket Mistress mentioned them at the SE annual meeting on Sunday. I ordered them directly from her (my seats are in the Nest) - you should call your rep.
You should have recieved your parking pass order form a while back.I recieved mine at least a month ago.You might want to press the issue
Yes I have received the form to order parking passes also. It came with the form to renew my season tickets which arrived about a month after I had renewed my season tickets.
I thought I had completed the purchase of my season tickets over a month ago. I spoke to my rep today and he said I still had a balance. I hope this means they're very busy, not just imcompetent.
I am glad to know that I am not the only one who hasn't received their season tix. I was getting a little ansty.
The parking order form was included in my original order package back in December. If you haven't gotten it by now, I doubt you'll get it in the mail. Best bet is to call Ryland Dennis at DCU and get it done over the phone. Rylands' a good guy and gets things done.
My concern is that I plan to exchange some summer tickets for opening day. And hope to get seats close where my season tickets are.
I don't think they will exchange tickets for games that haven't been played yet. If they are expecting a big crowd on opening day I wouldn't count on getting in that way.
This year the exchange program has been changed and does allow you to trade in tickets for games that have not been played yet. That is a great change for people who know they will be away for certain games. That said, I doubt you will get very good tickets for opening day.
I called my account rep. over a month ago and told them to charge the remaining balance for my season tickets on my credit card as well as a parking pass. The parking pass has been charged, but they still haven't charged the balance for my season tickets. This is not the first time something along these lines has happened and it is terrible business. Apparently DCU/MLS has never heard of the time value of money... They should have charged my season tickets the day I authorized it and gotten that money in their bank account... Since they charged the parking pass I am quite curious as to whether they will be sending me my tickets without bothering to actually charge me for them. I'll let them know if they do, but I am very curiuos if it will happen...
I think you might end up with some parking passes and no season tickets If it were me I'd be on the phone now making sure my seats were safely mine!
I had the same situation actually. It took them over a month to charge the remaining balance. I'm sure they would have gotten around to it but it took a phone call to make sure they had it to do.
I didn't order parking passes, but my tickets arrived today, covered with pictures of Freddy, Bobby, Ben, and.... Milton? :-\
