You're right, based on the second half of last season we should literally be in third position.

I think Feyenoord being so high up the list depends on if they sell Kalou and/or Kuijt this season.

If both go, I can see them not finishing much higher them mid-table.

Otherwise PSV will win again ( ), with Ajax second.

Don't worry, Ajax will win it. We don't like the play-offs so we'll just have win every year from now on. No big deal.

Still too early--if Kalou and Kujt go--bye bye Feyenoord--if Landzaat and Kromkamp go--bye bye AZ

    Anyways--here we go--top 5

    PSV
    Ajax
    AZ
    Herenveen
    Feyenoord

You can also finish 14th or 15th (or 18th). Then you also don't have to play play-off's ;)

I was thinking the same thing.

Although, I'm gonna probably have to end up going with Ajax then psv at the top. The rest I'll have to get to here in a bit.

Maybe a mod can sticky this thread?

Now that we're nearing the end of the season, let's look back at our predictions and laugh at how lousy they (probably) were :)

Heerenveen lost Huntelaar ad Samaras--or they definitely would have been a factor
Feyenoord held onto Kuyt and Kalou

Ajax has turned things around--they actually looked good against PSV

Az is no longer in UEFA so they will not run out of gas

Ha! Great to look back on. How we've all overestimated Ajax and underestimated Feyenoord! Almost everyone got RBC right though.

And here's hoping that Twente get fifth as I predicted (we still have to play RBC, surely that's a bonus)

I see I didn't predict here, but I did predict the final table at another site (http://www.soccerquest.nl/forum/showthread.php?t=27768&page=4&pp=30):

    1.PSV
    2.ajax
    3.AZ
    4.Heerenveen
    5.Feyenoord
    6.Twente
    7.NAC
    8.Roda JC
    9.Groningen
    10.Vitesse
    11.Utrecht
    12.Willem II
    13.RKC
    14.ADO Den Haag
    15.NEC
    16.Heracles
    17.Sparta
    18.RBC

Utrecht and Groningen did much better than I expected, and NAC and Willem II much worse.
