It's only 10 days off, and I'm not the only one that can't contain his excitement for the start of our 2008 Campaign. How much do we know about the lineup? Are we playing 4-5-1 for sure? Did the offseason leave much to be desired from player movements? How do we actually stack up against another MLS team? Will pablo still be out for the game? I'm not too sure why the starting lineup would be a lot different than the pre-56th minute subs one there with possible changes for injuries improving in a couple slots. After all FC never has been one to mess with the lineup once we're this close to the season (or in it) has he? BTW that is a 4 - 4 - 2 with C. Gomez probably withdrawn but as a forward. Fancy new player played out of position, I guess "That's why we can't have nice things!"
Given that I don't sleep at night, I watched L.A. play in Asia. They were crap! I also expect us to score 3 on their defense. The funnest thing about their games was watching Beck's face, which clearly revealed he thought his team was crap, but he had to hold it in and smile. The question is, how is our defense. Herc's blog seemed to suggest they had problems in Bermuda. If we can't shut down Bermuda, then??? Have all of the new acquisitions learned to work together?

You got Landon who is one of the best of the US, you got Becks who is Becks.. then you got Ruiz up there flopping around like a fish to set Becks up to win the whole thing on free kicks. Very worriesome.
From what I've read about Gomes, I'd like to see him shoehorned into the lineup somehow. Maybe... ............... Bouna ................ Ugo ......... Petke .......... Burciaga ............Gomez.. So I think this will be LA GalAxY's lineup. There defense is soooooooooooooo terrible. I just don't see them holding us to 2 goals. Where are you getting that opinion? Klein is one of the more storied MLS vets, Xavier was their best defender last year against chelsea, vanney, also, is one of the bigger MLS vets and randolph is one of the more hyped young and upcoming stars. ??
It is definitely going to be a tough game. I also think Cummings gets the nod up top. Is Pablo even healthy to play next week? I am looking forward to seeing O'Brien and Gomes get some time though.

I like this. I would rather see the three injured in that lineup, but it's alright. I hope Keel is on his game, because Erpen on Ruiz sounds like it's got the potential to be a flop-fest and a card...
