Its turning into a weekend long Battery Bash this weekend. Hopefully we will be celebrating a win over Puerto Rico! Starting off the weekend will be a tailgate with pleanty of free beer and food for those wanting to stop by. Well be starting off around 6pm in the usual place in the parking lot just by the east stand entrance. half time brings the Charleston Battery Hall of Fame induction. two former battery players will be inducted but if Paul Conway isnt one, its got to be rigged! After the match, the Battery are having a fireworks display and of course, the pub will be open. On Sunday, the Regiment is hosting the annual players appreciation picnic at James Island County Park. Always a good time with the players and Front office to sit around a have a beer or two and to partake in the annual kickball tournament. The picnic is free but is limited to Regiment members and their families but there is still pleany of time to sign up be be a Regiment member. weather has been pretty nice the last couple days, warm but not unbearable and the humidity has dropped a bit. It has all the makings of great weekend! Up the Battery!!!
