With Txiki Begiristain leaving Man City at the end of the season as Director of Football, Hugo Viana is apparently the leading candidate to become Man City's new Director
Meh Viana sucks at negotiating anyways. No big loss. Amorim and his team were doing the scouting anyways
Not sure, I don't know about the transfer fees but getting the likes of Gyokeres, Diomande, and now Harder when there were premier league clubs interested in them, put Viana on the map.
And his sales haven't been bad Not correct actually, Amorim stated he wasn't really interested in the club signing Hjulmand, it was the scouts and Viana that disagreed and pushed for it. Of course Amorim stated this because he admitted that he's glad they got him.
Was that Viana? Or was it Amorim? All Viana had to do was negotiate the deal and it's not like he was negotiati some crazy deals.
Harder gets the breakthrough late in first half - nice control and finish, but the keeper should have saved it. Good for his confidence
Interesting change in formation going for a a proper back 4 according to the team sheets. We did them last year in the EL Group stages, we should be even better this year
Isreal with a nice save the first time he's called upon! Striker was offside, but he didn't know that
Drunkishme "Yes COME ON, GYOKERES, HIT IT! HIT HIT...............YEAAAASSSSS" That's the sort of goal I wan to show people here in Manchester why he's so good
We struggled the last 20 minutes, but points in the bag. Gotta keep pushing as we still have the big English teams to come, but I'm happy with our points so far.
2-0 Now after Gyokeres and now Quenda score. Feeling a lot calmer now, was worried this might be our first dropped points.
3-0 Final….. But sound like we lost Niuno Santos for the year…. Tests tomorrow to confirm the injury severity
