Not a fan of these changes. I liked the idea of seeing teams into a world cup style playoff tournament bracket. You would have to work out how the higher seeds get real advantages but I think that would be interesting to watch.
Dammit, mls! Pick a playoff format and stick with it! NO best-of-three. That would take a week and a half right there if it went to 3 games. And why bother having a regular season if more than half of the teams make the playoffs anyway? (Which is why the NBA and NHL are so dumb.)
So what the hell happens if game one is tied? Better yet, what the hell happens if game three is tied? Did I just fall into a wormhole and come out in 2002?

That's insane! Even if it didn't have that awful logo, I'd be hard pressed to pony up for one. It's not a bad design. We've had better and plenty of way worse.
