Sean Wheelock's playoff article

    it's mls's playoffs... they can choose how to do it

    it's as fair as they want it to be

    there are 2 other titles to play for... who cares????

    yea and we're fans (customers) so we can complain about it if we want.

    I would care a lot more if MLS listens to Wheelock and changes their playoff system next season.

    I like this idea. I'd make the conference games so much more important if three teams in each conference didn't get into the playoffs. The battle for first would mean more because the first place in each conference wouldn't get knocked off, like C Bus. It's not like MLS teams are making a lot of money in the playoffs when the attendance is under 10,000 in multiple games. It is almost as if those teams didn't want to have a playoff game and have to sell the tickets.

    MLS should strongly consider a plan like this.

    Except for the fact that the #1 team sits idle for two weeks. This could be a huge advantage or disadvantage depending on injuries and conditioning.
