Hey guys. Just wanted to first of all say I hope we (Germany) get to Kola first, although I doubt it. He'd be an excellent addition to this team, as leftback is a real weak point for us, and I was mortified to see he didn't get any minutes with us at the U-21s, although supposedly he was carrying a knock of some sort. Our U-21 manager is a complete tool though and I hope Jogi takes note and calls him up ASAP. And if he does choose Bosnia and if Bosnia chooses him, I wish Kolasinac and Bosnia all the best. But I don't care if he did say "I'll crawl to Sarejevo" I still hold out that faint hope he chooses Germany.
What's funny is the LB position is Germany's weakest spot, and that's exactly where Kola plays. They're gonna call him up in no time just watch. He won't play for Bosnia. Our communication with him has been nada. Every coach, scout, FA in the world talks to potential players except ours. It took a fan to get an interview out of him.
For gods sake Jagodic called him up. Jagodic talked to Kolasinac too.. there was a video on sportsport.ba with him talking to Kola who said he would join eventually. I remember this. Susic said he would call him up if he has his papers handled.
I hope you didn't read some of the jokes in this thread. Its all in good humor, we actually love Germany and the Bundesliga. Any Bosnian will attest to that.
Kola will play for us. You guys need to chill. Papers first and he'll get a call up. Hopefully the papers are done by the US game. Would be nice to throw him in and against Slovakia.
