I made this trip in 2001 had a blast, i'll try to get a few friends together for this year! Vamos United!
I'm totally in. I thought last year's trip was classic. The bus was entertained by a couple of insufferable drunks who kept singing "Love Lift Us Up Where We Belong...". At least I think that's what it was. Good times.
Yea, the only way I'm going is if they learn some new material! But if I remember correctly, it was "Laid" by James that was the source of their song stylings... Woohooo, going to the Swamp to watch DC United rip the Metrodonkey's a new one!
Make sure if you want to come to this or any SE trip you're sending Paul an email at the address above (if it bounces from his old work address, don't worry it goes to his home as well). K
So in for this (even if Eric is going ) Already e-mailed. Dayam this will be good. And I promise no jello shots.
Are you sure you want to show the proper respect at the mere mention of his name because of his "deceased" status in your eyes? No! You should just let him fall into the "where are they now?" file and never think of him again...
Take pity on me as I am a newbie, but is it safe to take my 13 year old daughter on one of the bus trips? We are both big fans and while I am willing to accept some debauchery I don't think I want to expose her to an 'Animal House' type road trip.
Bus usually separates with rowdier folks in back and less rowdy in front. When kids are on board people do take care to look out for them and try to watch their language. She wouldn't be the first kid who has come on our trips. K
Hope you guys have a good time with us BTW, has Giants Stadium given you tix in the official away supporters section?
Hopefully they'll give us tix in a better spot than last year, when we had to risk the ire of security and move behind the goal on our own. The Harrison stadium can't get approved, funded and built soon enough...
My 12 year old son went when he was 10 years old and conditions were much as Kim describes. He and I may go on this trip, depends on how far his side gets in the State Cup.
Just to let you know.....I am going on this trip, even if it means missing work. Thanks to you're responce to our thread. I want you to show up before the match so that I can offer you a beer and wish for an incident free match. Please show up at our tailgate....showing a white flag....I will gladly offer you a beer. Untill match time that is...LOL God bless the USA, and God bless G. W. Bush!! And may God bless our club with a great season......in that order.
After further thought I should have put our troops at the top of the list.....So may God Bless Our Troops!!! Bagdad is now in the hands of Iraq'i "s !!!!!!!!!!!
OK, it's starting to be the time for people to put their money where their mouth is. If you want on the bus, sign up (several folks here talked about getting several busses, well let's fill one and go from there). If you're driving, get your ticket with us so you're in the section and you get the cheap group price. K
