It's a Jerusalem Cross was Nazi SS bolts on the left side. It's white supremacist, neo-Nazi symbolism. You don't find it repulsive that someone flies such a flag under those circumstances (or any)?

I think the exact reason that D-Day happened is so that 82 years later a soccer team could wear their pride jerseys against Germany.

Jerusalem Cross as I recall. Bought an old GF one when I went to Israel 40 years go. Sad when groups co-opt what was a perfectly normal symbol.

Case in point. I'm helping with a clean-out of an old friends house who was a collector. He had a post card exhibit on the swastika--before the Nazis. It used to be a common good luck symbol and was once used as part of logos for a bunch of businesses. Now it stands for infamy of the highest order.

The picture I saw was rather muddy--thanks for identifying the symbol(s). Ugh.

Like the boys and girls scouts. Smithsonian had a good article about the swastika a couple of years ago: https://www.smithsonianmag.com/hist...und-the-world-became-the-nazi-logo-180962812/

Yeah, Im sure thats exactly what our vets were thinking when they stormed the beaches of Normandy..."Boys, just think...in 82 years our great great grandsons can dress like women and be proud of it"...I dont think so.

    ANYWAY…

Supposedly Chris Richards is fit to play. Still not sure if I’d start him; CB’s are usually expected to go a full 90 min. If we have a comfortable lead by minute 80, bring him on as a sub.

And, for the love of God, DON’T start Miles Robinson. He’s crap. If Richards is a no-go, I’d start Mark McKenzie. Not a superstar, but he sure as hell isn’t Miles Robinson.

I wouldn't start Richards. To your point, you should fully expect your CBs to play a full 90. Especially your CB in a back 3. Let him sit and give him another week to strengthen his ankle. Depending on the result tonight and how we look without him (hopefully McKenzie starts over Robinson), you could even sit him against Australia. That way he's as healthy as possible for a likely huge match against Turkey and then a run in the knockouts.

Max Arfsten is the top selling player jersey in the state of Ohio. Him and Messi are the only MLS guys on the list.

Praise Liberty -- the freedom to obey. Enjoy your freedom, as long as it doesn't bother me in any way whatsoever.

    Seriously -- f*** straight off.

Still, after FIFA getting involved in the Haiti jersey, one wonders.... I mean, I don't really care, but if you are going to have a "no politics" rule, ....

Didn’t know people in Minn and Utah were so dumb.
And they even have MLS teams in their states!

With all due respect, Kyle -- no.

I resigned from moderating this forum, in large part, because someone was throwing around unfounded accusations my way calling me a homophobe. And others here were more than willing to believe them.

So if someone in this forum is going to post things that are openly homophobic or transphobic, and the mods who still have power here aren't going to do anything about it, I'm going to call them out. Don't like it? Do something.
