The Terminator on corners went away for about 1-2 matches. It kinda fits in with the “Go Diego Go!” so IMO it’s not so bad.

What is the adapted Chili Peppers one?? Is it from “Give It Away”?

IMO, my issue with Terminator is that it kills whatever we might be in the middle of. Someone said it allows our voices to rest...and yeah, if an individual needs a rest, that's fine. We all take those rests...but why is the whole section resting at the same time?

And yes, instead of the chorus:
Give it away, give it away, give it away now
Give it away, give it away, give it away now
Give it away, give it away, give it away now

Here we go, here we go, here we go now...
    Here we go now
    Here we go now
Here we go, here we go, here we go now...
    Awwww, get busy!

We're going to encourage our team to "give it away"?

    No thanks.

Looks like "give it away now" is changed to "here we go now."
Not really impressed with that one.

possibly dumb question - does anyone know of a viewing party or friendly bar that will be showing the game?

The obvious answer would be to check out the traditional soccer hangouts like Land-Grant, Endeavor, etc.

That is one area Columbus has traditionally struggled at...while we come out of the woodwork for Crew viewing parties, other than US games *in* Columbus, ISTM most people just watch US games on TV at their houses.

With the Guardians and CBJ playing earlier in the evening, TVs might be hard to come by.

    Good luck!

The boys are back, and for the first time since 2012, they will play in Mexico. This is the weakest squad to face Mexico since the 2021 Gold Cup Final as Poch believes in inspiring confidence and returning players in good health. Will Poch inspire the team to victory? Who will get into a fight with Dest, McKennie, and Weah all injured? Will Mexico's coach die before the final whistle? All this and more.

Location: Estadio Akron (Galley Boys and Potato Teezers for all)

    Kickoff: 10:30(?)

    TV: TNT/Max

    Last Match: Dos a Cero

Oh a win tonight might put us in second place in the Concacaf ratings and allows us to face the best second place finisher in the nation's league and that is currently hondoras but could be Guatemala or Suriname pending results tonight. A loss would likely have us against Jamaica.

This is so much better than a Berhalter team.

One thing Berhalter rarely did was lose to Mexico. Oh well. Mediocrity is perfectly fine when it’s European flavored.

What, waiting 78 minutes for the first shot on goal of the match doesn't make you appreciate it all the more?

What's the point of calling up Tim Ream? Surely he's not being considered for the 2026 WC?

The state of CBs in the pool from ages 17-35 is dire

Sure, but that sounds more like a reason to rush through a naturalization, ala Regis, or some youngster than to play a guy who is way past his prime, which wasn't that great.

Well poch has some words on that.

The only CB eligible for a dual nat switch is Anrie Chase, and Japan, where most of his family doesn't take too kindly to people changing allegiances. Rumors are he could lose his Japanese citizenship by switching.

Also FIFA rules require you to live in said country for 5 continuous years even if you were granted citizenship like Qatar and Russia were doing. That's why Lucho is eligible in March to switch. Believe Hany can switch soon too.

Wait, didn’t Weah serve his red card suspension during the Uruguay match in the Copa America? Or is that what you meant by “redacted”?

The suspension was upped to 2 games. Originally they said it would only be served in CONMOBEL competitions, but I guess that changed.
