This is a note from the SE Ticket Mistress (Mods, you can close that other thread) Thursday, July 21, brings to a close the opportunity to order tickets for the DC United-Chelsea match from the Screaming Eagles. All orders must be received by the SE Ticket Mistress by 12 noon EDT (send to tickets@screaming-eagles.com). That's the absolute deadline -- no exceptions (flattery, bribery and other inducements will not work -- sorry!). DC United has filled the 500-plus ticket orders that we received before July 18. The tickets are in the mail. New orders received by Thursday noon, July 21, will be forwarded to DC United, who will distribute the tickets using Federal Express. DC United will add a $10 shipping charge to the order (not to each ticket) to cover the FedEx expense. If you miss our Thursday noon deadline, you can still get tickets to the match. If you are a season ticket holder, you can call DC United directly (202/587-5000). Other folks can go to Ticketmaster or wait until July 28 and buy tickets at the stadium. Be sure to leave plenty of time as lines may be long. The DC United supporters section is just about full. Prices for seats in other available locations start at $45.
