Looking at the EPL fixture list, I realized that the Liverpool - Arsenal game is coming up this week. In a practical point of view, of course we want Arsenal to drop points by having Liverpool win, who are already out of the race.

But my question is: is it morally wrong for a United fan to ever hope for a domestic Liverpool victory?! Are there any of you who actually don't want Liverpool to win this game just because you don't like seeing the Scousers victorious? Just curious.

I want Man U to win the league title. If Liverpool beats Arsenal, the chances of that happening increase. It's that simple.

I'm not rooting for Liverpool to win; I'm rooting for Arsenal to lose.

Tough one, we need the Arse(nil) to drop points; but the Scousers to win, it just sticks in the throat!

A draw would not be a bad result, but we need Liverpool to win for us to win championship! Pity we dropped points against Blackburn and Boro at xmas!

This issue could cause deep philisophical ramifications. Of course anything that will enable Man U to take the league is a positive thing. But will pulling for Liverpool cause some rift in my psyche causing me to doubt myself or lose sleep at night. I think all I can do is close my eyes and when i open them hope my lads are just a little closer to the promised land then focus everydrop of my jinxing power against all things both arse and scouse!

2-2 draw. I suppose it was the best we could hope for from a mediocre team playing the hottest team in the league. Heskey saved it in the 91st on that nice looking header.

Now let's look ahead to Southampton where we can close the gap to 3 behind the Arse.

it looked like Arsene Wenger was hassling the officials after the game. why? about that corner? that was a tough call to make, even in replay.

Yeah, Wenger was complaining about that corner call after the game. Stop whining, Arse-ene. You didn't win the game because of poor marking and not finishing chances, not because of a corner decision by the ref that could have gone either way.

The very reason that I dislike Wenger is the fact that he whines all the time. Whenever Arsenal doesn't get the result they want, it's always someone else's fault. The ref made a bad decision. The other team got lucky. The pitch condition was bad. Do you guys remember last season when he was whining about the narrow Highbury pitch when statistics prove that there really is no correlation between the pitch width and the number of points they earn? I thought that was just plain ridiculous the lame excuses he can make up.
