I can't believe that Vidar Riseth might be playing at centre back. Has he been playing there regularly?

I still laugh remembering when he floated in a perfect, pin-point, cross into the box where the striker bulleted a header into the net, unfortunately for Vidar, it was his own box.:D:D

    That was a classic.

Hehe, never heard of that one. But it sure sounds like something he could
    do :p

And to answer your question: He didn't play regularly b'fore Hareide took
over. Now he has played some matches, but it was mainly Lundekvam and
Ronny Johnsen who played CB's before Johnsen ended his contract in Aston
    Villa and ended up clubless.

OK match by us. We didn't alow you too much room or chances and came
away with a narrow 1-0 victory.

Employing Berti was a mistake, and keeping him on now would be an even bigger mistake! If we don't win against Moldova he will surely be sacked. But I think he should leave whatever the score on Wednesday. Strachan wouldn't let us down. A Scotsman should be in charge of the Scottish national team.

On the plus side the atmosphere was excellent and I got to stand for the whole match :D I HATE sitting at the football!

    You were there? Cool!

Great atmosphere indeed. Like when that guy sang your national song, and
everyone in the stadium sang along. Really cool  I heard the Norwegians
outlouding the Scots outwards in the second half though, hehe :)

I never really heard the Norwegians, but that's not surprising because I don't think they could have been further away in the stadium! The crowd was much quieter after the goal though (not surprising!), I sang for the most the game though :D. Really big support Norway brought, they were really friendly as well :D. It's teams like Norway and Scotland that need to get to the World Cup, because we've got great supporters that know how to have a good time!

I'm certainly rooting more for Scotland than Slovenia or Italy. The Scottish are
    my kind of people; beer-drinking, folk-singing, fun-having people :D

I really have no idea what the team for the game against moldova will be. I reckon might Berti will pick something like this:

    Gordon

    Caldwell
    Naysmith
    Anderson
    Webster

    Fletcher
    Ferguson
    Holt
    ?

    Miller
    Thompson

Any idea who else will play in midfield? Cameron or Pearson maybe? Or will he play Hughes again? Or bring in another reserve player?!

I'd like to see Hartley to be brought in, i'm sure he could do a job against the Moldovans. Or maybe Pearson on the left to give us more width. What is for certain is that we aren't creating enough chances, and something needs to be done to solve this.

I’ve only just recovered from Saturday and now I hear its getting worse! Both Barry Ferguson and Russel Anderson (our our best players on Saturday?) are rated at only 50-50 to make Wednesday’s game!

On Saturday I couldn’t believe Berti didn’t play Dickov and Thompson up front, but with Dickov suspended I probably throw in Kenny Miller against Moldova.

I’m really fearful about Wednesday but not because we could get beat but because we might win and Berti says on!

I remember when Semb were NT-coach, and I just hoped that Norway
lost and lost so he would get sacked.

Semb set us back atleast 5-10 years. We went from 9th to 48th place just
    because of that amateur hillbilly.

    90' Ødegaard

    Great match!!!
Best match I've seen Norway play in quite some time now ;)

Unfortunately, this campaign is a write off.

I wish. That German kunt has got to go NOW!

I've said it from the start, the German half-wit was never the man for the Scotland job. Who would actually appoint a man that was a huge failure in Kuwait and was booed out of every other job he's had! He must go now! He gets paid half a million quid a year for doing a job i could do for nothing ffs! He is tactically stupid and doesn't have a clue about it! If the man had any dignity he'd step down NOW!

Scotland have reached an all time low :(
