    Team has been announced...

    Morrison Doherty

    Kilbane Holland (c) Kinsella Reid

    Harte O'Shea Breen Carr

    Kiely

I'm a bit suprised by that, why Breen over Dunne? Kinsella over Healy? Doherty over Connolly? I can only assume they will all be brought on at half time, he said he wont make mass subs but he's likely to make a few, so it makes sense to have someone worthwhile actually come off the bench.

I can understand the Doherty inclusion, for experimental target man reasons.

But Breen!!! Over O' Brien or Dunne doesn't make sense.
Scotland should have fun exploiting the left side too. At least Kiely will get a workout and oppurtnity to showcase he's talents.

Oh well, I'll give Kerr the benefit of the doubt and see how this works out.

Well thats fooled us all!!!! Dont think anyone predicted that team on this forum....

AND NO ONE predicted Gary Breen in there......

SHOCKING......(maybe Kerr told Roy the starting team and Roy legged it!!)

No speed up front whatsoever but I suppose we only have Connolly.....

    lets wait and see

My theory for the team is one, he wants to use a friendly to show he isn't going to come in and make rash changes and ignore players, and two, he wants to be able to have some decent people on the bench so he can experiment. Personally I wouldn't have gone for it, but, I'm going to wait for the match to finish to see how things go on, for a start, thenr eally judge him after the first competitive match.

23 minutes gone still 2-0. Kerr must be enjoying this. Keane, I'm sure is at Upton Park instead...

I don't think Kiely has had a save to make yet. Scotland have a penalty denied.
