Doherty over Connolly? I can only assume they will all be brought on at half time, he said he wont make mass subs but he's likely to make a few, so it makes sense to have someone worthwhile actually come off the bench.
I can understand the Doherty inclusion, for experimental target man reasons. But Breen!!! Over O' Brien or Dunne doesn't make sense. Scotland should have fun exploiting the left side too. At least Kiely will get a workout and oppurtnity to showcase he's talents. Oh well, I'll give Kerr the benefit of the doubt and see how this works out.

My theory for the team is one, he wants to use a friendly to show he isn't going to come in and make rash changes and ignore players, and two, he wants to be able to have some decent people on the bench so he can experiment. Personally I wouldn't have gone for it, but, I'm going to wait for the match to finish to see how things go on, for a start, thenr eally judge him after the first competitive match.
