I thought about implementing sms support earlier but dropped it since the effort required to do it is too much. With the application going obsolete in a few weeks, I wanted to implement the most-wanted features only.

Hmm, not many questions or suggestions. Is it too easy to understand and use or noone is using it? :) Anyway, feel free to give suggestions. Oh and I will decrease the frequency limit from 30 seconds to 15 seconds in a few days.

Has anyone actually bought tickets using it, specially the auto-reserve option? Seems like since so many blocks become available for sale whenever a match becomes available, people will prefer to go with "Show Staidum" option to be able to choose the block themselves. Auto-reserve option will come in handy for matches that are very high in demand. SF and Final.

    Just rambling.

Thanks for all the help, the service pack fixed my "Session Expired" error too :) It works great, and very cool of you to share.

I noticed some activity on fifa ticketing site with some matches becoming available. Did anyone using the scanner get alerted in time and successfully bought the required tickets? I would like to know that this application has actually helped someone!

scorpyn, is there anyway to get the program to re-auto-reserve the first block, AFTER the 10 mins has run out. maybe putting the same request in many times after each other?

Hmm! Good idea! Finally a suggestion worth implementing. I will look into it and let you know.

Attempt to re-reserve seats till one completes the buying process or till the tickets run out! I like!

it seems quite important, as im not at a pc all the time, so when the tickets become available, ill have to be very lucky to be around within that 10 min period, so if it could reserve them indefinitely, that would just be perfect.

Atention! Even if Scorpyn is able to "upgrade" his browser according to the latest request, you will not reserve tickets indefinitely!

Yes you will be able to reserve tickets every 10 minutes (if you don't continue & buy them inside FIFA's 10m period), but only if after each 10 minutes they are still available on FIFA's website (& not indefinitey, that's not possible, not even for Scorpyn's magic hands :)

they have to still be available because you were reserving them, so no one else can book them. so after 10m mins, the seats you reserved become available again. or at least thats what common logic would say.

    I think its worth trying.

Logic says that after 10 minutes they go back onto sale and you may have a chance of getting them again with the browser.
Thats better than just losing them after 10 minutes.

    Hi Scorpyn,

    Thanks for making this public.

For some reason, I'm not getting past "Getting session cookies".

Know what the reason could be?

    This is the output:

11:28:24 AM: Scanner -> Attempting Login for user xxxxx@gmail.com
11:28:26 AM: Scanner -> Login successful! Getting session cookies...
11:29:16 AM: The operation has timed out

Are you able to browse to tickets wizard page (where it shows tickets availability for all matches with colored boxes) using internet explorer?

Oddly, no. The browser times out. Any ideas on what the problem could be?

Hmmm. That is the problem I guess. Are you behind a proxy? Can you browse to the wizard page in any other browser? Firefox, chrome, safari etc.

Not using a proxy. Tried with Firefox, no luck. That seems to be the problem I guess. I'll keep play around with my internet settings a bit and see if I can make get to the ticket availability page.

    Thanks for your help!

um Scorpyn, you know you got me to download that extra thing that made a box pop up when i got the session expired issue. k well, how do i stop it doing that, because now everytime the session expires (about twice a day) the box pops up, and it stops scanning until i click "ok". before it would just wait about 30 secs, then try again, without a pop up. should i just download the original one again?

Yeah, get the original package and use the scanner.exe file from that package to replace the one I sent you.

Do you have an anti-virus or maybe a firewall that is monitoring your outgoing connections? It seems you are unable to browse to a secure site (https://xxx). Try some other secure site and see if you can confirm this. I think you have a gmail account. Are you able to login and see your emails? If you can, then the problem may not be with secure sites.
