An interesting thing I just noticed... only 2 of the top ten goal scorers from last year are in the top ten this year... Twellman and Ching http://web.mlsnet.com/stats/ http://web.mlsnet.com/history/archive.jsp?year=2006&content=stats_league 4 different foreigners there this year too... also, unless something crazy happens the winner will be way above Cunningham's 16 from last year. We could see someone over 20.
Mate you and your little brother staying up past 10 to watch Girls Gone Wild infomercials doesn't count as scoring.
I didn't score last night but I slept in a Holiday Inn. There are a couple of big additions to the league (in terms of finishers) that we haven't since for years (in terms of influx of quality): Angel, Emilio, Schelotto. And then you see a return to form of EJ/GAM. But a big drop in form by Ruiz (who's normally be in the top 5), Moreno got a NT callup for the Copa and then injured (so was out nearly 2 months) and Cunningham getting hurt for the year. So that accounts for a lot of the topsy-turvy nature of the top scorers' list this year I think. Just imagine if Cooper had stayed healthy.
