Rueda sucks, but we can't destabilize at this point, need to finish off with what we have. Once qualifiers are over all options are on the table, but we need to hope that Rueda can find a way to get our attack to be somewhat existent. I can't really blame the federation for this one, he looked like a good option and it just hasn't tuned out that way.

    no its now or never.

We don't beat Peru and its over. tying them kills us especially since we play Argentina away the following game.We need to beat Peru we will be 3 point + at least 5 goals ahead in goal average which at this point we need to worry about since the table is so close.

then go to Argentina not lose by a lot or tie. Hell Rueda redeems himself and we win 3-5 + goals :). Not likely.

On paper we have the clearest way to the WC and qualification in our hands. We are 4th and beating Peru at home basically seals us 5th place as long as we beat Bolivia.

bold games seem like hard part of their schedule
Colombia plays Peru(Home), Argentina (away), Bolivia (home) and Venezuela (away)
Peru plays us (away),Ecuador (home), Uruguay (away), Paraguay (home)
Uruguay plays Paraguay(away), Venezulea (home) , Peru (home), Chile away
Chile plays Argentina (home), Bolivia (Away), Brazil (Home), Uruguay (home)

Even though we play C0-0mbia style, I really think we should get 9 out 12

6 gets us in especially taking the points from Peru

we have the easiest of the 4 teams not just because we are Colombian. 2 accessible home games

We usually score goals against teams like Peru and Bolivia.

Argentina and Venezuela though I am not expecting much.

we beat Peru and Bolivia at home and we are in.

very hard for Peru to pass us in points + goals scored at that point.

Out of the 4 teams fighting for 2 spots we have the easiest unless you are insane and think Ecuador can be knocked out. They’d have to lose all 4 games haha

also all 4 teams play each other. 5 if you think Paraguay isn’t dead.

this has been the worst qualifiers ever but that is a + for us. As kept us alive and in 4th with a good goal against #

The scoring situation i think is due to the fact that Rueda is a defensive minded coach that has depended on creative attacking players in his career to salvage his game plan by creating chances off of his stout defensive strategy when his sides have had the ball more....

He needs to call up guys regardless of age or where they play or legal issues as long as they are in form he needs them and he needs his defensive mid to win possession and his side needs to have the ball more... Otherwise he will always manage a side that ties or loses 0-1

All they got to do is win though.. Luckily next game will be against Perú... And they can't lose to Argentina that might knock them out.

Did anyone else cringe at how we wasted that golden chance just before HT? Like you think that would have been the moment that we've waited for long.
