Just in my casual glance I noticed that the scoring for the goalies for the game early today(for us on the West coast. is wrong. They gave both goalies a Clean Sheet even though the game was a 1-1 tie. I believe this means that the real totals for the goalies would be 55 for Hartman and 45 for Busch. I have a sent a note to them but I am not optimistic they will act on it before tomorrows change in Roster value based on the inflated scores. (They still don't have the SJ Earthquakes starting goalie on Apr 12th on the roster.) Anyone else see any discrepencies? Any other players still not on their team's roster? I already found another mistake. Here is my 2nd note to them. ------ The point totals for all MLS players who completed games on 4/5 are wrong. According to the Scoring Listing it shows a Full Match is worth 5 points but in the category for number of points 10 is awarded. This looks to be a fundamental scoring mistake as all players seem to be affect (Just as an example though Myung-Bo, Hong shows this problem.) Please correct this problem ASAP. Thanks, Randy Overbeck CQ Secretary
I gave up on it. They let you make unlimited number of teams....where i saw people making teams of players from the crew and galaxy only and they got all the points. That's stupid to me... i gave up on it. It's a waste of time. So every weekend make a team of the teams who are playing in real MLS matches then you win all the pts, PUH-LEZZ.
Try MFLS instead, it has a limit of 4 players from each MLS team, a limit on the total # of transfers per season, and doesn't hand out points for silly stats like "catch/punches."
1) We're making the changes to scoring now. They should be fixed this afternoon. 2) As far as the theory that you could just pick starters for each game -- it doesn't work! You have a maximum number of trades you can use, and so, eventually, you'd run out of trades, and be hosed for the rest of the year. Basically, you can only make 3-4 changes/week (on average), and so if you picked all Galaxy/Crew players this week, you're going to have some tough choices to make. -ESB GM/TSN Games
Will you guys update the rosters soon? By my count, your fantasy league is missing about 20 or so active players. And while some of the missing are "spares" who may never see any playing time, others are regular starters or important bench players for their teams, including Frankie Hejduk, Ronnie O'Brien, Carlos Llamosa, Pat Onstad, and Andy Williams.
Thanks in advance for the quick response and the dedication to get these problems cleared up. Randy Overbeck
What about Grimandi? If he bolts, do we lose a transfer from a player who never played a single minute?
This may sound stupid, but is the $1 fee to buy more trades real money or part of the "$"2,000,000 salary cap? Also, last time I checked Frankie Hejduk played DEFENSE for the Crew, not midfield (now that he is there).
Don't worry, I had the same question last year. It's real moolah. That's where the revenue comes from. People who buy/sell players and end up spending about a hundred bucks over the season. (I always make a firm promise not to buy any... I want to make a division for people who refuse to buy any trades... anyone else interested?)
What?! Real money?! I just blew a trade trying to get Frankie Hejduk the DEFENDER and got told I can't get him because he's a midfielder. To those running this game: Frankie is a defender now, for the Nats and the Crew.
Here's how bad your scoring system is: On my team summary page, it shows 95 points for Buddle, 10 for Martino, 25 for Bo, and for Hartman it shows 60 for last week but 50 total (helloooo???). Then it shows a Total MLSP of 185. Now, if I add those numbers up using REAL math, I get 190 if we use Hartman's "last" and 180 if we use his "total". MLS Fantasy, on the other hand, managed to add those numbers up to 185. Now I go to the daily stats page, where it shows the above numbers for everyone, but showing only the 60 point number for Hartman. So it should add up to 190, right? One would think ... but MLS Fantasy only manages to add it to 180. What base number system are you using??? (And by the way, on Monday morning, my score was above 200 ... glad to see you've got all the bugs out of the system!)

These problems aren't unique to Norsk Troll's team. This is a general problem effecting everyone's scoring (at least mine and everyone else's score that I checked). One error not yet mentioned is that in the division standings, while the teams are listed in descending order by score, each team's rank does not correspond to the listed scores. Therefore, the rank numbers do not ascend in order, but rather jump around a little bit.
It's nice that Frankie Hejduk was added. But it's Thurs. night and we're still missing a number of potential starters on the rosters, including Ronnie O'Brien (DAL), Pat Onstad (SJ), and Andy Williams (CHI).
We'll be adding another wave of players this week. And we'll also be reviewing the Kevin Hartman assist as part of weekly scoring updates. -ESB
