Since this is the rivalry forum, and in good-natured fun... New York: 1 San Diego: 3 Boston, Carolina, Atlanta and Washington: 4 San Jose: 5 and... The Joy of Six Paul
SJ's and SD's #'s are ridiculous. Their seasons did not support their #'s representing them at the all-star game.
Congrats, Charge! Your team got the most players in a meaningless contest sure to draw all of 14 fans in a city that's likely barely heard of the league! I was going to present you with a trophy, but I threw out my last used Slurpee cup. Oh, and 1-0 when it counts, fool. RS
Six all stars and your team STILL didn't make it to the final. Your six can just pretend its the final and play like the game has meaning huh? Thank you, thank you. You walked into that one dude.
hmm?? Is 6 all stars something to be proud of when you have nothing in the season to show for it??? I wonder..Washington went from second worst to second best...with only 4 all stars and with one of them playing only about 1/2 the season and the other being a rookie.... Also...which one of your six scored 3 goals in a half in the previous USA game???? I guess when there is hardly anthing to be proud about...you have to start making a big deal about the little things!!! God Bless America!
And they all watched the final on TV. Again. Bus trip to Philadelphia - Free Box lunch - Free Ticket to playoff game - Free Getting Philly fans to finally shut the hell up about how great their team is - Priceless
But they won't shut up. Maybe it's time to pony up the 30 clams to become a BS subscriber just to put Charge! on my "ignore" list.
Too bad I can't ignore fellow mods . I learned my lesson this time; goodness knows I tried to pepper my comments throughout the season with smileys and what not, for the most part. We'll have one more good round of woofing it up for the All-Star game and that'll be that, and the only civic pride that you saw all season will emerge if we get to the playoffs and win 'em both. Paul
