Re: Goooooooollll!!!!!!! By the way that has to be one of the funniest lines in Chappelle's Show history.
Re: Goooooooollll!!!!!!! I have always had full confidence in Bobby's abilities and he really showed it tonight...especially with that perfectly placed FC. His corners this evening weren't that great, but that FC, obviously, makes up for it. LD IMO was the best player on the field for us tonight. He, Bobby, and DmB were all pretty on tonight and when they are all on together, it makes for a pretty lethal combination. We had some great chances and finishing obviously needs a little work, but all-in-all, a dramatic win in front of 45,000+ against our greatest rival is awesome. A beautiful free kick and a nice finish by the amazing Eddie Pope (who deserves the captain armband over armas any day (thank you bruce for finally getting that)) will leave me smiling happily for the rest of the night and into tomorrow.
Re: Goooooooollll!!!!!!! When did he use goal??? Or are you thinking of the Daily Show last night? That was awesome!!!
Re: Goooooooollll!!!!!!! dienasty - please don't reveal game results in thread titles. Also, if you're opening a thread where the score will be revealed, place an [R] in the title.
Re: Goooooooollll!!!!!!! I say give him the arm band over Reyna, he's been with MLS from day one and will be from years to come. BA can put a solid line-up together without Reyna, Pope is in every conceivable XI MOTM: BA, the 4-2-2-2 brilliant! MOTM Really: Mastroeni or Convey Solid Match: Everyone but Armas & Wolff
Re: Goooooooollll!!!!!!! I watched TDS, and even though i'm well versed in politics, i could not understand the connotation when it came to Karen Hughes....IN Spanish, a goooool would more or less mean (in a similar situation) a selfish use of time in order to get one (very) personal point across, or pretty much showing off a pretend "expertise" in a matter that one has no business in....The meaning of the gooooool by Jon Stewart (this being now the English language of course) was not all that clear to me: Care to explain anyone? IS it pretty much the same meaning or one i'm missing?
Re: Goooooooollll!!!!!!! Goal. She scored. She had a tough play, she had to link the 2 subjects (I won't get into them here since it's politics) and she did. She made a despicable connection. She scored. She achieved her GOL.
