Sorry if this has already been posted somehwere, but I was told and also read that Markus Schopp will probably rejoin Sturm Graz! Too bad we didn't get to see much of him last season. I was hoping to see more of him this year, but I think it's great news that he'll be back with Sturm!!! What are your thoughts? Do you RBNY fans really care - 'cause I think some of you think he's overrated...

Schopp ended his career in december 2007 because of his chronic injuries and suffering!

AFAIK at the moment he helps training the RBNY youth and in summer he indeed is going to join Sturm Graz as a junior-trainer.

I care, I wanted him to play more for us. When he first got here, I thought he was going to be our second bulldog on the field. Never happened. :(

Same here, was interested to see what he could do, unfortunate we never got a chance to really see him play.

Either he was not Brucee's type of player or he was always hurt. Not sure the real answer. I remember seeing him at the end of 2006 season thinking he could be a key player for 2007 only to never seem to see the guy even dress for games.

I bet he earns the Austrian league MVP for this year, knowing our history.

He does not play anymore, he has retired last december!

He could have been a key player for RBNY, unfortunately he never really came back from his injury, thats why he decided to end it.
