They say red is an intimidating color. Germany has found a nice balance with the red, but England went as red as ever. I like the gold touch on the German ones though. Very classy. New Balance has to do better. Vanilla. Not sure what Puma is thinking either. The last time I saw them do something interesting was the basketball inspired attire for Cameroon in 2002. It wasn't the most functional and FIFA prohibited it thereafter, but a great look.
There is no real standout great kit. Nigeria's is fire, but they arent going. Both USA's kits, Englands home kit, are trash. England, Portugal and Spain have decent away kits. Croatia as well. The rest are meh. Nike and Adidas pretty much gave up years ago.
mostly agree i think Japan's home is great. assuming the accents are based on origami. i like the México kit as well for the pattern. most of the kits are just lazy. Puma putting big shields to avoid proper design work is just poor. the rest are all stock standard. no one took any bold risks with these
Lol I saw them and thought most of these look really good. Maybe just one or two were poor. Thanks to the Dutchman for posting anyway
Yeah forgot about Mexico's away. It seems like Japans kits will never be ugly. They always have at least 7/10 kits every time.
Harry Maguire gives the ball away. Then gets megged by Musiala then fouls him. Yeah but theres a which hunt.
surprisingly he is one of the more polarising figures in the game - there are those of us who think he's absolute garbage and then you have the "he's never let England down" crowd. clearly including Southgate. did not expect that when he joined
Musiala on the other hand, is killing England. What did English football do to push him away/let him go to Bayern? Makes no sense. But hey, yall got Kalvin Phillips and Mason Mount.
Imagine chasing a game and brining on Saka to play RW. Saka is good, but ...I guess he cam help with just his energy.
Maguire gives away a penalty for the first goal (after giving the ball away) Second goal Maguire loses the ball upfield to start the attack! Ha
Lovely strike from Kai Hav. All started from Maguires give away. BUT THERE'S A WHICH HUNT. At least he has progressive passing. [emoji1]
what a shit show from Maguire... feels bad for him and feels worse for our club since we are stuck with him.
Look at Kehrer on Englands goal. He's the only one running away from Shaw. West Ham bought him and Paqueta for how much?
Why does it take 2 goals and ur own fans booing you to finally play? England have had 6 playeds arouns the box regularly for the last 15 to 20 minutes compared to 3 or 4 in 1st half
https://www.skysports.com/football/...s-despite-more-harry-maguire-woes-for-england might as well double down on being wrong and go out your own way i guess
Can't we bring this guy in to revolutionize our scouting Piet De Visser, 88 year old longtime scout for Chelsea, advisors and friend of Roman Abramovich confirms on Dutch Television he will go back to Chelsea soon to report on some players that he has scouted. “I don’t do it on my own, I always have a big network around me” #CFC pic.twitter.com/1ahB8az2wv— Pys (@CFCPys) September 26, 2022
I didn't see the Germany-England game, but Maguire's mobility issues are something Southgate will need to face up to. England will likely top their group and face Senegal in the next round. I'd give Senegal good odds to reach the quarters at least.
It makes no sense that he wants to play a back 5 and chooses Maguire over White, or Tomori who's done it before. It's a throw back to 2002 and where they were picking players and forcing them in rather than choosing a system and building round it
Also ******** Fernando Santos, how does he take the second best squad on paper (after France) and make it look like we're underdogs at home......
